Being a photographer for an automotive brand like Alfa Romeo is a dream. And when they asked me to work with Vanity Fair, party with celebrities, and shoot their Alfa Romeo 4C to showcase the relaunch of their brand during the 2015 Oscars, I felt like I'd walked into a movie.
Then, I got in the car, and took the test drive a lot further than they expected.
Usually, that might not be a big deal, but they didn't just give me any Alfa Romeo 4C, they gave me a Launch Edition. There are only 500 of them ever to be made, and they're serialized. So, needless to say, taking this beauty from downtown Los Angeles, to Malibu, to Joshua Tree National Park, definitely turned some heads. Not to mention, it was a blast to drive.
When the weekend came to a close, and I had to return the car, I promised Alfa Romeo that the photos were worth it. Don't you agree?
