         ❝If you’re here to hurt me too, can you just save it? I mean, there’s someone else you can slam on, right? I think — I’ve had enough for one day.❞      Jared hasn’t been kicked out of Misha’s. That’s not what happened at all, but with the burning heat in his spine and the unfamiliar city, he’s pretty sure he’s had a rough day. There’s a warm on his shirt that lets him know Jensen’s shaky bandaging job isn’t holding up like it should, and he’s so damn apologetic about everything he could hardly breathe. Two days he’s been in this city. Two days, and he’s been punched, stabbed, and watched someone almost get beaten because of him — he wants to be able to sleep in peace without worrying some kid is gonna try and steal him.      He can barely see his attacker in the dark, but their slight and kind of skinny. He’s sure he could hold his own against her if he really wanted to — he did action movies for a living, so he knows a thing or two about using his weight to his advantage, but he’s never actually really been stabbed. Part of him expects Misha to be coming around the corner at any moment before dragging him back to his apartment to shove him in that room he wasn’t supposed to go in. Part of him hopes it’s Jensen.

"Wha-- Oh, for God's sake, suck it up."

For the record, it was his fault. If some random stranger started to invade her territory, she had to defend herself. But it ended up being more of an attack, because he couldn't even defend himself in the first place. So with a good right hook and a kick to the shins, she had him down in an instant. 

Genevieve's surprised once she gets a better look at him. He's tall, real tall, pretty broad too. Probably pretty muscular. How she caught him so off guard was a mystery. But then she figures that he's probably not the fightin' type. Just the kind who unfortunately gets beat up in the city. She huffs and moves closer to him, holding her hand out to help him get more steady on his feet. She had already worn on him enough, and apparently so did someone else, She feels sorta bad for him. But that doesn't mean he's entirely off the hook. Oh no, she wouldn't allow that. "Who are you and why are you here? And who else has tattered you up?"

     Free spirit, free to run, and occasionally, free to kill. Genevieve’s got the time, but not the patience for anyone’s bullshit. Gen Cortese is a classic Italian girl from San Francisco with a twist: a good portion of her family is still involved in the mafia, rooting from their ancestry in the heart of Venice.      She met Jared by chance— and soon, Jensen and Misha by fate. The streets of Los Angeles are unpredictable, so she was bound to run into some interesting characters. The name ‘Misha Collins’ rung several bells in her mind, and not the good ones. Death tolls. But since she recognized Jared— and they were on fairly good terms (after she threatened him, then sorta apologized for misunderstanding)— she took on the case of following them.

      Gen knows that running with the hit man, the ex-corrections officer, and the ‘kidnapped’ actor isn’t exactly the smartest of decisions. But what the hell does she care? Plus… She’s got to protect the innocent after all.

      For a price. (Wouldn’t be a mafia deal without one.)
