“Do you think she ran?” He asked. “Some people are like that.”
“I don’t,” she said hesitantly. “Some people are like that, but not my sister.”
dynamiteprofessorcalhoun :
Calhoun hesitated a moment, unsure exactly how much comforting the kid needed right now. She settled for the truth spoken a bit more gently than was her usual fare. “It may not feel like you’re doing much, but every extra set of eyes looking for her increases the chance that we find your sister.”
“You’re right,” she said with a deep breath. “You’re right. I’m just- I don’t know, what if we never look in the right place? What if we’re always two steps behind?”
herguard-tye :
“People run. People don’t stay. People require other people to keep an eye on them.” He sighed. As much as he kept an eye on Jasmine, his family and her, they kept an eye on him. After all, would he chose to be here if they didn’t keep him here and held him down? It was unlikely.
“And what makes you think she ran?” She asked softly, not wanting to think about what else could’ve happened to her sister, but she couldn’t keep the thought from escaping.
supershrinkingviolet :
Vi snorted. “I know what that’s like.” Dash had managed to miss the fact that she had transformed into a werewolf for a full 6 months, despite the way the family had been talking, and he always did as he pleased. “Look, if you tell me anything about this you can, I promise I’ll look for her and make sure my boss is looking for her too. I’m good at finding people.” Or she could be given her skills.
“I don’t even know what there is to tell. She’s been acting a little weird lately but I never thought it was something big. I just thought she overworked herself, she usually does.”
summonerofdemons :
“You should never do anything for free.” He offered her a devious grin. “So what will it be?”
“Well, honestly I think it’s stupid. Why should I be offering you something? What makes you different from everybody else?”
likeateatray-inthesky :
“I know it’s not, but this must be a really stressful time for you right now. And I’m sorry that you’re having to go through it. Is there anything I can do to help? If you want to put up flyers or something, I don’t know..but I’m happy to help if you want.”
“Thank you. Really thanks, but I don’t know. I don’t know because honestly, I don’t even know what I’m doing.” She looked down at the picture in her hand, “pictures of her face won’t find her, but I don’t know what else to do.”
the-flower-or-the-serpant :
“I do,” she said, sounding somewhat lost as she handed her a copy of the poster. There was a general one that had been made but she had made her own well before the official one had come out. She had been carrying copies in her bag wherever she went. “I hope…I hope they’re found.”
“Me too,” she said staring down at the poster. “How did you know him?”

Today was actually Meredith’s day off and she was looking forward to spending it quietly. She’d left the house and headed to the coffeeshop, because if she was out of the house she couldn’t work on any chores. For once she just wanted to read something for herself and not worry about all the things she was supposed to be doing to work towards her future. It was going to be just her, her book, and an endless cup of tea today.
That was until the familiar voice destroyed any hope of concentration. She found herself smiling even as she sighed. There was no way Danielle would let her read quietly, not when she’d gotten an idea in her head. “I remember you saying that. I’m a little skeptical how this is going to work. What on earth are you planning?”
“Well I’m glad you asked Mer-Bear,” she said with a chuckle. “I’m sorry, I’ll try not to let that stick. But back to the plan, because it’s a pretty good plan for it not being completely thought out. What I was thinking is me and you go hit up a Muggle town. Anyone we want, and just do things. It’ll be like an adventure! I’ve always wanted to see the gigantic eye they have in London. Honeslty, I’ve always thought it sounded a little Magic-y, but whatever,” she finished with a shrug and waited for her friend’s response.
supershrinkingviolet :
“I get that. It’s not stupid to try and make other people aware of your missing sibling.” Vi remembered a conversation not too long ago when she’d reacted harshly to someone who tried to put forward the same idea. She’d hoped she had learned to be a little better now. “Just, be careful ok? With one child missing, your parents are going to be more worried about the rest of you.”
“And they should be,” she mummbled, not realizing her meaning wouldn’t be completely understood. “I mean, sorry. Not like that. It’s my other sister. She actually is the type to leave the house for days, do what she pleases. You know, I don’t even think she knows Annette is missing,” she said, obvious pain in her eyes. “Probably ignored the damn owl.”
likeateatray-inthesky :
Malinda looked at the picture carefully for a minute before her brows knitted together and she frowned. “No, I haven’t seen her around lately. The last time I saw her it was when the names for the Olympics were announced. I’m sorry. Maybe she just went somewhere for a while and forgot to say anything?”
“Don’t be sorry, it’s not your fault,” she tried to offer a smile. “I wish we could even consider that. But this is Annette, “Always play by the rules, never do anything bad, study-study-study” Annette. I can’t see her doing this, I just don’t know.”
dynamiteprofessorcalhoun :
“I agree. She’s not the type.” Calhoun almost wished she were an auror again just so that she could solve this and get the girl back to her family safe and sound. “First things first, you need to report her missing you haven’t already.”
“I haven’t, but my parents are. That’s why I’m here doing this. I’m trying to help, do something. But this is all I have and it’s not doing much.”
fashion-andsecrets-colleen :
“What?” She asked breathlessly. Colleen had barely been home that summer, between partying all night or staying at friends houses she hadn’t even seen her sisters all that much. And now she regretted all of it so much. “A-Are you sure? Maybe you just like missed her, or…” She just stopped talking. None of that was even reasonable. She was the one who disappeared for a few days, Annette was way to level headed for that stuff.
“You know I didn’t miss her, Colleen. I wouldn’t be doing this if I just missed her.” She paused as a wave of greif washed over her face. “But I do miss her. I miss her so much. And I’m really scared. Annette wouldn’t do this. This doesn’t make any sense and I have no idea what to do or what I’m doing.”
the-flower-or-the-serpant :
“It’s been…probably a month. Can I have a picture of her? I can ask some of my people to keep an eye out.” Time had blurred together since she first found her parents.
“A month?” she echoed, an unoticable shiver shot down her spine. What if Annette was gone that long? What if she was gone longer? Danielle nodded her head as she handed a copy over, “of course, thank you. So much, really. I’ll take a copy of yours too if you have it.”
summonerofdemons :
“What’s in it for me, girl?”
“You want something in return for using your eyes?”
supershrinkingviolet :
“Have you officially reported her missing yet? Or are you just trying to find her on your own? Did anything happen?”
“My parents have. I just, sitting around and waiting made me feel so useless. I know this is pretty stupid, but I don’t know what else to do.”

@mersoldsoul
There was always something about the summertime Danielle loved, and it absolutely, one-hundred percent had to do with the fact there was no homework. It's not that Danni disliked Hogwarts exactly, but you really find time to appreciate three months of unlimited free time when It's given to you. And appreciate it Danielle will. A good chunk of the summer was spent riding her broom, eating three bags of chips in one sitting, and making big messes, but there comes a time in a girl's life when that just doesn’t cut it anymore. Because how can you have the best summer ever without any adventure?
Which is what lead her on her hunt for the perfect partner in crime. Danielle already knew who it was going to be, she just needed a confirmation and they'd be off! So in a hurry, the triplet made her way to Hogsmeade searching for Meredith. It had almost been way too easy for her own good, one pass by the coffee shop window, and there was the youngest Perry sister. With a wicked grin on her face Danielle open the door and bounded up to her. "Mer, have I got news for you. Remember when I said that thing? About this being the best summer ever and all? Well, let's go on an adventure."
herguard-tye :
“No.” Tye said, barely looking at the girl and returning to staring straight forward while waiting for Jasmine to come out of the bathroom. “You should probably should keep better track of her, then you wouldn’t lose her.”
“If I had’ve known I could lose her in the first place then I would’ve.”
