I can't find inspiration in new games, movies and the like, but maybe out of nostalgia I like Brave Frontier and its lore. Also I found interesting that I chose Amadream for the fanart, because according to the lore, it exists while the idea is being formulated, very similar to how the game is still being remembered, although technically it is already dead :'(

(I think I overdid with the details, the pic looks way better if you zoom a little)

A river mermaid. She's 2,5 years old❤️. I started drawing her back at 2021, then stopped and finished her only now. Drawing her face was a true nightmare, I remade it about 5-6 times and even now I'm not satisfacted with it. Also this is my first experience with reflections and waves on water, so forgive me if this looks strange

Now this is my most hard and detailed artwork. It took me two years to finish this because when I sketched it and started coloring I realised that it will be soooo damn long to complete this, that I gave up and quit drawing. (but lower half was made in a week or so tho).
