HEADCANNONS
Usagis a stoner(this is problably obvious if youve seen any of my other fanarts of them)
Usagi has resting bitch face, but honestly theres not much going on up there
Miyamotos culture of being a samurai means he really values loyalty, honor and courage and i think he sees these in Leo and the way he fights and has huge respect for him because of it.
Leo just thinks the other is super cool-like way too cool for him. hes really not, but he could problably get his ass beat and Leo would think it was the coolest shit hed ever seen.
Leo often cleans or polishes Miyamotos sword for him, just because he knows how much the others weapon means to them.
Miyamoto is fluent in japanese and practices a lot more of their culture than the turtles do(like wearing a kimono and generally just his everyday life) splinter is VERY exited when he first meets Miyamoto as leos friend, hoping it will rub off on Leo and his brothers. Leo ends up bonding with splinter trying to learn more phrases ect. to try and impress Usagi.
