In fact, these twins are my ultimate safe space.

I always return to them when I can't get any more dopamine from anywhere. As a child, they scared and confused me (they came from my dreams), but now they evoke tender feelings. I think it's because they give my brain a sense of constancy, something unshakable, a feeling of unconditional love, unbreakable by anything, an unwavering connection against the whole world.
