can I ask how you choose colors? They look super harmonious yet vibrant

thank u! last year I started to focus a bit more on doing merch so that's nice to hear lol I've been rlly enjoying it

As for colors, at this point it comes pretty natural to me as I draw a lot daily... but what I used to do was to limit myself to a couple of colors and use only those for the whole drawing. It helps for creating cleaner and more pleasant palettes, but it's also good to make you think on how to use colors differently (like if your color palette doesn't have blue but you gotta color the sky)

Eventually it gets easier to add more without them looking out of place.

Also do color roughs! Before you go with the final ones, try to color your sketch and play around until you like how it looks.
