Operation: Oops-You-Live-Here-Now
So, post-Golden Circle, Eggsy technically still has his own place, right? Itâs small, itâs a bit of a mess, and the neighbors are either nosy or stoned (or both). Meanwhile, Harry is back from the dead, a little emotionally wobbly but still as dashing and proper as ever. Eggsyâs been lowkey hoveringâchecking in, making sure Harryâs eating, not just brooding in a waistcoat.
And thatâs how it starts.
First, itâs little things.
âIâll crash here tonight. You still get dizzy sometimes, bruv, what if you fall down the stairs or somethinâ.â
âI brought you some takeaway. Donât argue. I know your fridge is full of condiments and lies.â
âLeft my charger here. And my trainers. And, uh⌠JB.â
Then suddenly... the apartment is half Eggsyâs without either of them realizing.
Harryâs pristine little flat is slowly colonized by chaos and Adidas:
Eggsyâs sneakers by the door.
A neon pink hoodie slung over one of Harryâs antique chairs.
A Kingsman-issued firearm tucked in a Hello Kitty pencil case on the coffee table.
Harry opens his drawer one day and finds an entire drawer of Eggsyâs socks. He says nothing, just calmly shifts his own things over.
Meanwhile, Eggsyâs place gathers dust. He still pays rent, but when he tries to go back one night, the silence hits him like a truck. Itâs too quiet. Too not-Harry. He calls it a âbad vibe,â but deep down he knowsâit doesnât feel like home anymore.
The moment of realization? Itâs small. Thatâs what makes it so devastating.
Eggsyâs lounging on Harryâs couch in pajama pants and a âJesus loves you but Iâm his favoriteâ shirt, playing with JB. Harryâs reading some old Churchill memoir with a cup of tea. Thereâs nothing dramaticâjust cozy silence and soft light.
Eggsy glances around and goes, âMate⌠I think I live here now.â
Harry doesnât even look up. âYes, I rather thought you did.â
Cue Eggsyâs brain short-circuiting.
He blurts out, âIs that alright?â like a kid whoâs just confessed to stealing cookies.
And Harryâbless this posh man with zero emotional expressionâsets down his book, gives Eggsy the tiniest smile, and says, âYouâve always been welcome.â
Eggsy just stares at him like: Oh. Oh no. Iâm in love with you, arenât I?
Harry, ever composed, sips his tea, but heâs smiling into the cup. Because he realized that three toothbrushes ago.
