Long, wavy chestnut brown hair cascaded down her back as she sat in the red velvet chair she was sitting in. She had her hazelnut brown eyes on the pages of the book 'Beauty and the Beast' that she was reading. She sat calmly in the living room of the mansion she lived in and flipped a page each time she was done with a page. Once she heard footsteps approaching her, she took a glance up to notice her father with a man, a man she knew as Katsumi Tokusaiji. (cutiebeauties)
Katsumi lived calmly with his daughter. Aside from his garden, she was his most precious possession. At first, he was cold towards her due to the untimely death of her mother and his wife but soon enough he started loving her just as much. It helped that they were so much alike.
"Seraphina, my dear." The long-haired man approached his daughter with a calm smile on his face. It was an affected calmness since he had been looking for her in the mansion. "I was worried. I did not hear you in a while. You know your father worries, right?" Worry he did. Like the worst case of helicopter father, as he became particularly paranoid to not let the remnant of his love leave too.
"And I understand that, father."
Seraphina said to her father as she let go of the hug she shared with her beloved father. Once the hug was completely broken, Seraphina backed a step away from her father so she could look him in the eyes. Her eyes held a certain determination, almost as if she wasn't going to back down from this. She was just like her mother, determined and headstrong. It seemed as if she really wanted to make her debut in society.
"But, father, I am ready to become an adult, officially. I am ready to take the next step in my life."
Seraphina told Katsumi as she took his hands in her smaller and softer hands. She held her hands in his as she spoke to him once again.
"I am no longer the young child that said she wished to marry her father, a naĆÆve and innocent child. I am an adult now, and I wish to be seen as such."
A sigh escaped the lips of Katsumi. This was not going to be an easy discussion, was it not? Both of them were determined to see their side prevail, because of their wildly different ideals. Not that Katsumi was known to be stubborn, he could be quite the pushover when it came to his daughter, always doing everything to make her happy. But this was different. He could not afford to lose her, or so he felt like.
"Seraphina, my dear beloved daughter." The long-haired man eventually said, pain plainly clear in his body language. Hurt eyes, somewhat fidgety. "I am certain that you are an adult. But that is exactly why you would be in danger. A lot of men simply don't care for the feelings of others, much less women. They simply view as if they were a pound of flesh.."
His eyes lost their luster just a little bit as he was saying this. "Ah, if I could cage you within my fingers, keep you in a greenhouse for my eyes only to see, like the precious flower you are, I would."
Why would you force me to marry you against my will Makoto-kun?
āBecause you are my best friend, and the one I love, big sis! Thatās why! I only need you, why would you need anyone else?!ā The young rich teenage boy replied, feeling anguished.
Sayo was pissed off that he dared threatened her. If anything she felt betrayed instead of being touched by his declaration of love. Being blackmailed by her closest friend is something she canāt imagine
āHow am i suppose to love you if your methods like that? Not only you didnt ask my permission you did something shady didnt you? Didnt you?ā She became angrier as the young lady looked at him
āSis, you meanie⦠I thought you would understand! I donāt want us to be separated!ā Makoto still tried to appeal to her by crying. He did not want to hurt her directly. It was bad enough he was forced to do what he did. āI will make you happy, you will see! Yes, it will be like always except it will finally be just you and me. The way it should always be!ā His tears were intercut by his now using a sickly-sweet expression on his face. He would have looked just like Makoto of always, if the eyes did not look like a pair of glasses or the complete obsessive nature of his mannerisms.
Sayo can see through the lie on his face no matter how much he tried to hide it. She stood in silent and sighed still in disappointment. The stoic young lady crossed her arms as her eyes still glued to his figure
āI Ā probably still tolerate if you hurt only me but it felt like you stab me two times when you include my family on this plan of yours. I need time to process thisā¦leave me alone for nowā She slowly walked away from him leaving him behind as she not looking back. her brown eyes now stared at the floor thinking her next action to solve this without hurting anyone
āVery well then, big sis⦠I will give you time to finally come into your senses.ā Makoto would then leave to his room, after being done with his crying. There was nothing to fear as far as he was concerned. They were in his house, under his rules, and with all of the servants answering to him. Not that he even thought that he would even need to use force. Because his big sis would never be this mean to him, ever, for all he knew. She was just nervous, that was it. The brunet laid down on the bed of his room, admiring the engagement ring on his finger. As much as she complained about it, Sayo was his now, forever, and he had proof of it as well.
Sayo was walking back and forth on her own room as she mixed with feelings of anger, confused, sadness, and anxious. She herself is still unsure if she wanted to marry him
āWhat if i decided to spy him?ā¦to see what heās been doing behind my back? Should i disguise as someone else? Or no?ā
The young lady decided to spy on him and probably disguise late to see what heās planning so she tiptoed back to his room and leaned her ear on the door, not going to miss of what he is up to and probably expose his secret
In his bedroom, Makoto had been absent-mindedly admiring the photographs from an album he had been keeping, hardly noticing that anything else while in his own thoughts. The photos were from him and his ābig sisā Sayo. He liked looking at them reminiscing about old times. She was always one to comfort him, to console him, to care about him. At one point he was even protected by her. This was the reason why he always called her big sis and treated her as auch, he was almost like a baby when he was around her. So he wanted so badly to be the one who protected her instead of being the one who was protected. He loved her so much.
āBig sis⦠I love so much. So much, so muuuuuuch. I wish you would let me love you!ā That was Makoto talking to himself, and to the images he had of Sayo from his perspective. A smacking noise could be heard from Makoto kissing one of the more recent pictures he had of Sayo.
āI wish I hadnāt been this useless. I mean, I had always been way richer than you, and you were just on a scholarship on my school? I did try to shield you from our more classicist classmates but I was always a wimp, so it ended up being the other way around. But if you would only let me, I will finally protect you like I should have.ā
Sayo looked at him with a sigh as she gave an usual deadpan expression, except with a concern now. He really is obssesed with her, huh?
She decided to leave him be and slowly went to the park. Now that she think about it, he really grown up now isnt he? She slightly chuckled. It is true that she shielded him a lot
Does she love him? Sayo herself not sure what to feel about him. As for now she only see Makoto-kun as a younger brothern grew uo together since very young. The long light brown hair girl decidee to sit down on the garden and stared at the flowers. She loves going here. Itās calm and all-green as she has always been a favourite of nature
Makoto was not expecting for Sayo to leave. He looked up when he heard footsteps nearby his room and tried to go to talk to her but it was in vain. He only saw her leaving the mansion. It did not even cross his mind that she could leave so he did not have the servants at the ready to avoid it. In many ways he was very naive and still believed that Sayo would love him back enough to stay with him. So it felt like a slap to see her leave.
It was driving the rich brunet boy crazy, even more than usual. But he tried to calm down a little and first contact her with his phone. If anything it would allow him to track down through the call if he could not convince her to come back to him.
Sayo, who was busy in the garden relaxing herself in a her favourite place, filled with colorful flowers suddenly interrupted by a ring on her phone. She pull up and itās Makoto. What does he want?
Sayo decided to take the call as she bring it to her ear. āHello Makoto. Is there something wrong?ā She said in a mix of gentle yet stern tone
āWhere are you?!ā A scream from the other side of the phone could be heard, desperation clear from the tone of voice of the caller. Makoto was losing it, because he was worried that she would leave him alone. He could even bear the thought of that happening. āAnd just as importantly, why did you leave?!ā
The brunet was pacing to and from inside his mansion, anxiety consuming him. This was not how any of this was supposed to happen at all! That was one of the few thoughts on his mind right now. He needed to make her go back to him as soon as possible.
āIām at the garden. If youāre that desperate to see me. You can see me right now, Makoto-kun. Iāll see you later by thenā Sayo said as she ended the call as she returned to sipping her tea
Sayo sighed. Makoto probably going to try forced her again instead of trying different method
"Big sis, you meanie... Why..." The brunet teenager choked out a cry, because all of this situation made him feel betrayed. Maybe he was jumping the gun too fast but it felt like his planned, dream future was slipping away from his finger like sand. But at least she was still on his property, on the premises, so she did not leave that far. This ray of light helped him cope a little, even if he was really such being melodramatic.
Closing his phone and pocketing it in his pants, Makoto ran as fast as he could to his own garden, expecting to see Sayo again. "Big sis, big sis!" The rich teenage boy cried out loud to his best friend as soon as he saw her. He was such a crybaby and it inwardly annoyed him because he was so emotionally weak. "You are really here! Don't ever do that again to me! Never leave me alone!"
Yandere that is menacing, threatening and ready for violence to get you to love them. Keeping you locked away, reliant on them, the whole shebang.
But you're just smitten. They're very suspicious of how damn agreeable you're being, but they're just delusional enough to want to believe it.
Them: "There's no escape... You're mine forever, darling."
You: "Promise?"
Them:
Why would you force me to marry you against my will Makoto-kun?

I did not hear you in a while. You know your father worries, right?" Worry he did. Like the worst case of helicopter father, as he became particularly paranoid to not let the remnant of his love leave too.
"You should know that I am always in the mansion, as the only way I can leave is when you go with me. I do not understand why though, since I am eighteen now. You also have not let me make my debut into society, even though I was supposed to on my eighteenth birthday." Seraphina said in her feathery and feminine voice with a soft and sweet tone as she spoke. Not just her looks, but even her voice matched her late mother, as did her fashion sense.
The only thing she inherited from her father was her height. She had on an elegant pink floral print dress with puff sleeves and ultra thin sheer ankle socks, something that her mother would have worn in the past. Seraphina then closed her book, and placed it down on the brown maple coffee table that was next to the red velvet chair. She stood up and straightened out the bottom of her dress. Once she stood up, she once again turned to her father.
Despite being a rich man, Katsumi still dressed rather simplistic. Only on pants and shirts that he would be willing to get dirty, he was frequently on the garden, tending all of the flowers. They could easily hire a gardener but it was his hobby. But with this in mind, he did not understand sometimes the more refined tastes of his daughter. Not that it mattered in his mind, she would only need to point at the clothes she wanted and she would get it. It was surprising that she did not become spoiled from this sort of treatment.
"Are you certain about the debut in society? It is not necessary to do it if you do not desire to do it. You still have time, my precious flower." The long-haired man replied in a similarly soft tone of voice. In reality he was not particularly enthused for her to do it. Showing his daughter... It would increase the chances of her finding some other man, who was not him... It would increase the chances of his daughter leaving. And that was unacceptable on his mind. Not that his twisted thoughts were that apparent from his pleasant smile and soft-spoken nature.
"Father, I have come of age, and finished my education. I am ready to be introduced formally into society." Seraphina said to her father as she looked at him. Each year, she becomes more independent from her father. She then walked around the chair she had been sitting in and walked towards her father.
She then stood right in front of him, and then spoke, "I know you are afraid of me leaving you, but we both know that I cannot be with you forever. I am not a child anymore, but I will always be your daughter, and nothing can change that." After she finished speaking, Seraphina went closer to Katsumi, and wrapped her arms around him, giving him a hug. "I will love you no matter what, father. No matter who old I become, and no matter who I marry in the future."
Marry. One of the words that could easily irritate Katsumi, along with the words "boyfriend" and "lover". It was simply unthinkable and out of the question, the idea of allowing his daughter to leave his side. The idea of some man touching her, kissing her, being around her. No man was truly worthy of her, as far as the long-haired man was concerned. It was for that reason he was stalling her debut in society but it was becoming harder and harder each year. Especially since Seraphina really want to do it.
"But my dear Seraphina, what is your hurry?" Katsumi started saying, trying to keep a steady voice through his jealous anger. It was not particularly hard because being mellow was just natural to him, but his tone of voice did become sharper any time this topic came around. "I know you are not a child anymore. But I don't trust the other men to treat you as good as I do. The world out there can be rather cruel sometimes."
Why would you force me to marry you against my will Makoto-kun?
āBecause you are my best friend, and the one I love, big sis! Thatās why! I only need you, why would you need anyone else?!ā The young rich teenage boy replied, feeling anguished.

I did not hear you in a while. You know your father worries, right?" Worry he did. Like the worst case of helicopter father, as he became particularly paranoid to not let the remnant of his love leave too.

It was the middle of the sea, just an island that nobody knew about and that nobody seemed to live on. Naohiro ended up stranded on the island alone after his sister convinced their stepfather to take them on a cruise.
But he could not find his sister on the island after the ship was ruined because of a heavy storm. Was she dead? He did not want to think that she was dead. That he could not protect his sister. Nobody else who was on the cruise seemed to have survived neither. He hoped that this meant his stepfather was dead, that would be good riddance and the best karma but he thought that he was not that lucky.
That was all he could think until he found a girl that still seemed to be alive. She was under the rubbish of the ship that managed to arrive on the island. He had to take her out of there. āAre you OK?ā The long-haired redhead teenager asked to the girl after he saved her.
@izuimo
The redheaded teenager closed his eyes for a moment. It was comforting to see someone care about him so much, and it made him feel a bit guilty about being mean to her. Naohiro did not deserve this level of worry after being such a douchebag to her or so he thought. He would have to make it up to her some way, somehow⦠But right now what he really should worry about is getting better. He was in no shape to help anyone right now.
Izumi somehow managed to get back to camp. Laying Naohiro down as gently as she could, the girl collapsed next to him, attmpting to relax her muscles. She never knew that she was that strong, strong enough to carry a boy twice her size.
The whole situation made her chuckle in between the heaps of oxygen her lungs demanded. She couldnāt wait to get off this island. But, she was unsure about everything. Everyone on that ship is dead, she doesnāt have a home to return to. She even forgot her fathers number.
āHey Naohiro, what do you think life will be like, you know. Once we get back home. Do you think weāll ever see each other againā¦? Will, woll it be lonelyā¦?ā
Izumiās question broke the silence as she stared up at the sky. Her aunt, sheās deadā¦she knew it. Sheād never see the womanās smiling face again. She was going to be utterly alone. She finally felt like she had time to mourn. Her mind was so focused on survival that she never expressed her feelings. She was finally crying, about her aunt, the situation, life or death being presented. She just wanted all of this to be over.
The redheaded teenage boy rested on the ground of the usual place they stayed in the island, still trying to not exert too much energy as he had tired himself out recently. He would have gone to sleep had Izumi not made him a question right then about their future.
āI donāt know⦠It would depend. I just know it would never be lonely, not if I can help it.ā Naohiro began explaining. āI would need to know if my sister is still alive. If she is, I would love for everything to go back to normal. I guess I would stay in touch with you and you would meet her too⦠If she did not make itā¦ā It was a moment of painful silence for him, as he grimaced just from thinking about it.
āIf she did not make it⦠I think I would still have you⦠I guess. You remind me so much of her⦠But I did not want to let anyone else into my heart, so that was why I had been like I had been these days. I was so conflicted about it. I apologize about that, by the way. But I guess it would not be so bad after allā¦ā There was a certain implication that he intended to use Izumi as a replacement for his sister if Naomi was dead, but he did not want to be so direct about it. But his heart longed for his sister too much that it seemed the only logical coping mechanism.
The day was beginning to dimā¦leaving the two in increasing darkness. Izumi was dead tired, with the only amount of energy being exerted being the tears that flowed from her face. She really wanted to say something positive. But nothing came to mind. So, she focused on Naohiroās words. She really needed something, someone to say that everything will be alright.
āThat would be niceā¦! Meeting your sister and we all can hang out with each otherā¦!ā What a pleasant thoughtā¦! Three teenagers in the same horrible situation, together to let go of the trauma. But, the thought of his sister being dead. Even her heart wept at such a thought. So much time with Naohiro has made her long for the twin as well.
āNoā¦donāt worry about it. Itās okay.ā It wasnāt okay, it would never be okay how the man treated her, and they both knew it. Deep down, Izumi knew her crush was nothing more than her mind desperately needing someone in this rough time. But, that person should have never been Naohiro, it should be someone who would actually care for her. Not tear her down and build her up at every perceived slight or change of mood. Someone who would comfort her for a change, not having to be rescued all of the time. She was beginning to understand that. She needed more than what Naohiro could possibly give. They both knew that, but neither wanted to admit the truth.
Izumiās hand dragged across the sand, going to reassure Naohiro but, it stopped, her facial expression going cold. It didnāt pull back, nor did it attach to Naohiroās. it just sat in the empty space between them.
Naohiro shook his head as a sign of denying what Izumi was trying to say. "I know it wasn't OK... You know it wasn't OK... But I was so angry and I think that I am still angry. Even then... My rage was misdirected." The redheaded teenage boy lowered his head from regret and guilt. He knew that his sister would be angry if she found out and he would deserve every bit of her disapproval.
It was like he was choking on his words but he was trying and failing to keep talking after his explanation. "I.... I am sorry." Absentmindedly, Naohiro moved his hand closer to hers as he was saying this. It was obvious how he was not strong emotionally speaking to handle these kinds of situation. He desperately needed to cling to someone else. Usually that person would be his sister but now there was only Izumi, who greatly resembled his beloved twin sister. Not that he actually realized what he was doing, at least now.

The photos were from him and his "big sis" Sayo.
"Big sis... I love so much. So much, so muuuuuuch. I wish you would let me love you!" That was Makoto talking to himself, and to the images he had of Sayo from his perspective. A smacking noise could be heard from Makoto kissing one of the more recent pictures he had of Sayo.
"I wish I hadn't been this useless. I mean, I had always been way richer than you, and you were just on a scholarship on my school? I did try to shield you from our more classicist classmates but I was always a wimp, so it ended up being the other way around. But if you would only let me, I will finally protect you like I should have."
show, don't tell:
anticipation - bouncing legs - darting eyes - breathing deeply - useless / mindless tasks - eyes on the clock - checking and re-checking
frustration - grumbling - heavy footsteps - hot flush - narrowed eyes - pointing fingers - pacing / stomping
sadness - eyes filling up with tears - blinking quickly - hiccuped breaths - face turned away - red / burning cheeks - short sentences with gulps
happiness - smiling / cheeks hurting - animated - chest hurts from laughing - rapid movements - eye contact - quick speaking
boredom - complaining - sighing - grumbling - pacing - leg bouncing - picking at nails
fear - quick heartbeat - shaking / clammy hands - pinching self - tuck away - closing eyes - clenched hands
disappointment - no eye contact - hard swallow - clenched hands - tears, occasionally - mhm-hmm
tiredness - spacing out - eyes closing - nodding head absently - long sighs - no eye contact - grim smile
confidence - prolonged eye contact - appreciates instead of apologizing - active listening - shoulders back - micro reactions
