Advertising campaign/ Targeted audience

I want to complete my NMP with creating an advertising campaign promotion the new look of ASOS. This will be a big plus for me because when I go to a job interview I can prove to future employers that I can think of branding and marketing as well as web designing. Having more skills is always better. 

I want to think of a campaign that is quite easy to create because of the little time I have left to complete my NMP, but it should be something that would work.

The first thing that I need to do is to properly research my audience. Research their interests,lifestyle who are they?

App Prototyping /  Asos Rebranding

I’ve done some quick basic sketches of how I imagine the app would look like. I want to keep it quite simple and remove everything that’s not essential from the website and put it into the app. I still want to keep the homepage of the app scrolling and showing different bestseller products and new products, sales like how it was on the desktop version because I think that’s the easiest way to navigate.

Current ASOS App / ASOS Rebranding

I found that ASOS have an actual app right now, and to be honest it’s not that bad at all. I find that the app is way better than the actual website because it’s not filled with useless things like the website. I see they pay very much attention to the student discount maybe because the targeted audience is mainly young people. I need to include this in my design as well somehow even tho it is already in the navigation bar and I will put it on the main homepage.

Fashion apps research / ASOS Rebranding

I found that Zara app which is I really like the design of. It’s minimalistic and straight to the point without any unnecessary elements. I like the good use of photos as well.
