aroace struggles

i know romance isn't the center of everything, but it's just honestly disheartening for me as aroace not being able to relate to basic things like romanticized yearning for someone so much to be with them. i've been on a 2 year long relationship and i cant think of one moment when i felt that way. every time i just felt incomplete, like i was the problem and i was doing something wrong for not being able to miss someone the same way i'm wanted. i thought it was just depression pushing everyone else away, but i grew up being used to not really missing someone, having a migrant parent. i dont know. i wish i felt certain about being in love before getting into that relationship, knowing i cant give what they fully want from me. in any way. i got into that relationship being on a codependent relationship w/ someone bc i was in the deepest part of my depression and any connection felt Divine compared to the usual shittiness. having friends again just made me realize how much i actually didn't want it. platonic connections gave me more fulfillment than the romantic obligations expected from me.

i yearn for the ability to yearn someone like that.

i love the mainline aa story, and i do like apollo justice games,,, there's a certain point they gotta stop giving apollo new backstories.... they still havent even TOUCHED the sibling thing they got going on 😔 which is still m fave part of apollo's lore more than spirit of justice (no offense. i do like the concept and lore about it But It Gets To A Point OK. they cant keep doing this 🥹).

im not even gonna be surprised if tgaa 3 (if thats ever even gonna be a thing,, i doubt) and it's another.... apollo justice backstory but its his ancestor or something 💀 can we get something for athena..? anything..? 🥹 more investigation games???? SOMETHING

insane thing about asobaro is the kicked puppiness of barok that greatly appeals to me. kazuma gets to walk him like a dog (hah.. to a certain extent) if he wishes to but he doesn't abuse it to no end. what can i say? mentor-mentee AND frienemies? 🙂‍↕️ yum
