Sucks. It absolutely sucks. FaceTime doesn’t compare to seeing the way their eyes light up to what you did that day in person. It’s not the same to hear them whisper that they love you as you’re falling asleep on the phone to when they whisper that they love you as you’re falling asleep in their arms. Nothing even compares to the simplicity of holding their hand, kissing their lips and playing in their hair. It’s not easy having to touch your fingers to a screen rather than touching their cheek in a sweet embrace. Long distance fucking sucks but in the end being with them is totally worth it.
