Do people still use tumblr? Boy, I sure haven’t...
Hoo BOI it has been a whiiiile. Was taking a trip down memory lane tonight for 2014 - 2016, and man did it put an odd yet somewhat cathartic smile on my face?
Well, for those people who still use tumblr (and implying anyone would see this), how has everyone been? There’s quite a few people I feel like I have fallen out of contact with whom I really enjoyed chatting with the few times we did.
As for myself, I’ve been around. Mostly been hosting Pathfinder campaigns for friends for the last couple years while working at my job. Surprisingly still kicking, I guess, haha. I haven’t done a lot of writing in some time (and as a byproduct from my lack of writing, I feel as though my general creativity as well as my overall daily vocabulary have TANKED as a result over the last couple years). It would honestly be great to try and have a comeback for ol’ Calorin and Marek at somepoint, but it’s been so long... it’s just weird, pfff.
I would honestly love to tell some funny stories here or there of the campaigns I have been running or been in over the years, I feel like there have been some worthwhile moments that could maybe give some chuckles for a few people that have some basic knowledge of D&D/Pathfinder or the like.
Really been missing the community feel of the PMDU tumblr blogs, the writing prompts or questions people would ask (or my own curious questions towards peoples characters being answered in very amusing ways!). Maybe some time it would be fun to just write out a full explanation of Calorin’s history, and where I planned to take him and Marek as characters through PMDU.. albeit most likely would need to probe my brain with a lot of questions to get all of that back out of the messed up vault.
Rambling aside, if anyone is still around, I just wanted to give an out of the blue, semi-anonymous thank you to anyone whom I interacted, chatted, roleplayed, or commissioned from the time when PMDU was alive and well. Times were tough in my personal life, but a lot of you made for some really great days on my end, and I really appreciate that and look back on that fondly.
