A meek scoff of irritation echoed through the air, eyes trailing after the younger Slytherin with annoyance. You’d think by now, a look would do the trick but some seemed to never learn. “ More like we can’t kill them without suspicions raising, otherwise this school would be crowded with rotting corpses by now...I’m SURE. ”

Helping himself to the seat adjacent from Dolores, Corban pulled out a book he'd BORROWED from the restricted section during a late night prefects round. There were definitely advantages to having a badge and an excuse to wander the corridors at unspeakable hours. And in the confinements of his own common room, the book would raise few questions. “ I have a feeling you’ll be waiting a while for that, so I wouldn’t hold my breath for that one. They’ve given power to a mudblood after all.”
