Hallo, Yaya here I started drawing comics since 6th grade at elementary school. But my very first comic for my college task and exam (at comic class, 7th semester) is so colorful and look like manga (Japanese Comic). But in 2019 I started do comic after I visited Komik-Week Festival in Jogjakarta. Indonesian artist are amazing, and I'm so inspired and back to try comic again. My color palettes are inspired from Dick Bruna's Miffy and Boris series and Piet Mondrian's art and map. Very basic, primary colors. Enjoy~

Miffy, My Precious Daughter, and Her Activity

I Adopt a Girl Named Miffy

So, yesterday my friend, Ben, and Maria invited me to join them to watch the newest Indonesian movie. After that, I got jetlag because the movie has too much graphic contains, like blood, flesh, etc.

So for recharge our energy, me and my friends visited a doll store called "My Bear", "Smile", and an unnamed store. Maria is crazy about BT21 and me crazy about Rilakkuma plushies. Maria only purchase one doll of Cookie (a character from BT21 by BTS). And me looking for the Rilakkuma doll.

At the "Smile" doll store, I found the Miffy doll sat alone between expensive-cute-and amazing dolls. Miffy so small and lonely. My heart breaks and grab that doll and bring it to the cashier. I just pay IDR 34K or 3$ for Miffy. So cheap for an amazing doll-like Miffy. I'm so lucky~

I decide to take care of Miffy, she's my daughter now. I give her a strawberry hand-made pin for a gift for her. I feel amazing, I'm not a longer lonely. Maybe I still a lone wolf but...I feel I have someone to take care of.
