i dont use instagram but i went on to check a family member’s post and it’s shifted my algo from the korean cafes i was looking at in feb to women encouraging me to starve myself. had an angry 2am snack in protest. unbelievable what’s on there, like watching car crashes

got sad hugging merlin thinking about how i can't share music or art with him i want to read him stories but he's not very interested. he can enjoy cuddles and kisses and brushes and ear scratches and sitting in the sun and laying in the grass and hiding in his bush and watching the birds and tasty treats and exchanging noises and looking out windows and snuggling in laps and chasing toys but he doesn't get music or art do you ever think about that. doesn't seem fair don't they deserve everything

too hot for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! was worried since my memorial marathon was so painful that i'd lost fitness but it really was about running for sadness vs running for joy, today was much better. dehydration did nearly get me but sainsburys local can feel like an oasis, fridge full of cold drinks like heaven on earth. five birthday's in a row, from my first ever marathon on my 25th to my 21st marathon (inc ultras) today on my 29th. celebration of being alive and healthy 👍 let's stay alive and healthy 👍

why did i make birthday marathons a tradition and not birthday spa days

tomorrow is my beautiful birthday, i'm going to uphold my birthday tradition and run. i have the whole week off work and i'm going camping with my lovely friends thursday. i have a two week solo trip to tokyo sorted for august. i'm trying to wake up each day telling myself i've got a new chance to do whatever i want
