I think the fact that everyone is still arguing over The Odyssey is such an impressive testament to how timeless the work itself is. I loved reading it in high school! I loved Nolan's movie! I am now enjoying Emily Wilson's translation! I love listening to Epic! Like, I just love it all!
Maybe, it's about how the work makes you feel. If there is something in this story that holds meaning to you, then that's all that matters.

Imagine just playing Genshin one day, like any normal day. Struggling in trying to beat a domain, or stuck in a 30 minute dialogue with a random npc.
