he witnessed his mom die when he was really young 

a flash of light was all he saw when she was being murdered before he was knocked out and awoke in the hospital

he and his family are middle class

after his mother died they moved houses but he started to experience nightmares that even till this day he sometimes gets

he got his super speed studying one day while a lightning storm was going on and he was struck by it, he awoke at the hospital once again alive surprisingly and viola he had super speed

from then on things only got better as his vision was brought back to 20/20 and he realized he could travel faster than most

Personality

so he’s basically like a mixture between the flash and kid flash so his personality ranges from being silly,funny, and goofy to also being cocky

when it comes to his studies however he is 100% involved bc his dream job is to catch what or who killed his mom

hes part of a fraternity so he can also be a douche at times 

he’s honestly very neutral not nice and not mean either he’s just in the middle

he’s really funny or at least he thinks he is

power and their experience with it (also extend on the abilities/give a definition)

his ability is super speed and he has yet to actually master it like he can go really fast but not his fastest yet and he knows it. however he can also control how slow he goes which is good bc then he can also still play sports like he’d like.

in addition to his super speed he also has weapon proficiency, peak physical conditioning, and a genius intellect 

how they came to the university

he came to the university because he honestly wanted to get out of his small town and see the outside world that he hasn’t seen

he’s also like to know more about his powers bc he knows there’s more to it then what he’s figured out so far

their current life

his current life consists of partying, swimming (bc he can control his speed in the water), learning how to play the piano and keyboard, doing some songwriting when he is free, and enjoying his college experience
