You were always vain and narcissistic and you still are. You were always selfish and jealous, you still are. You were always manipulative and attention seeking, feigning mental illness for someone to acknowledge you because you're too irrational to think of a better way to illicit a response.

His mother worked hard to get him through school

Little did they know he hated going

He tried so hard to fit in and was dubbed the fool

And his sadness continued growing

They labelled with names, unfair and cruel

Despite his bright demeanour  

He escaped the pain through writing

Until his father found it easier

Gay little homo was what he was named

And his mother’s words were meaner

Only for expressing himself

As his patience grew leaner

He discovered release in the form of a blade

He loved this misdemeanour

He got into in a fight to save his only friend

Who betrayed him to feel superior

Contemplating a hasty end

This boy became a dreamer

It was too late to compromise

The boy prematurely continued his demise

as his lifeless body gave into the attack

the teenagers lied to hide

the love they purposely denied

 that would’ve prevented this boys suicide

Liberated from myself

I was in the winter of my life and the substances i met along the road were my only summer

at night i fell asleep with myself

dancing

and laughing

and crying with them..

six months down the line. I find myself stuck,

staring into this cold deep night sky that lacked its beautiful bulbs of light that seemed to go on forever but were stuck, molded like dried candle wax staining the smoothest surface of the black abyss void of love and life and light. i was just a boy, nothing spectacular at that, i once had a dream of becoming an amazing poet but upon a series of unfortunate events saw those dreams dashed and divided like a trilion night stars that i wished on over and over again, sparkling and broken.. but i dont really mind. because i learned that it takes getting everything you ever wanted and losing it, to know what true love is..
