so I'm a closet g/t fan, right. take this secret to the grave type of gal. I'm sure there are others like me who have had that "oh shit" feeling when they wanna explain a piece of g/t media to someone who's not In The Know™️ about why I like this thing in particular so much.
but like, there's time to prep for that.
so what about when you're experiencing a piece of g/t media for the first time that you DIDN'T know was g/t?
like I had heard about ultraman as a franchise before but I had no idea what it was really about until rising came out. my (non g/t) friend wanted to watch it bc she was seeing all the simp edits for ken and I was like "yeah sure why not" and dear god the way I was NOT prepared for the amount of g/t jumpscared me so bad.
I was getting nervous over how I was reacting thinking I was too entrenched bc it had been a while since I actually got a new piece of g/t media. I can't be the only one who's been caught off guard with this type, right? right??
me sitting in bed going through the same scene in a g/t scenario over and over bc I can't progress a plot point for the life of me
