Give me an O! And an L. And VE, too.  The VM Fic Club is pleased to present our Sexy Spring Challenge! 

How it works:

The VM Fic Club has created three different bingo cards, to inspire all the sexy fic thoughts.

Follow the link to download our Sex & LoVe & Rock and Roll Bingo card. And join us on Discord to receive two additional playing cards -- Dirty Deeds and Sexy Back.

Choose as many squares as you’d like from the bingo cards for inspiration and then write all the sexy fic based on that prompt! Does "Try a Little Tenderness" inspire an intimate bed-sharing fic? Does "Get Ur Freak On" inspire something a little more...risqué? It's all up to you.

Write one fic with ten prompts in it. Write ten sexy fics with one prompt each. Or make up your own theme prompt with our "Free Space" on every card. Cherry-pick prompts from each of the three cards. For an added challenge, choose one card and try the traditional Bingo route and go for a line, perimeter, or X on that card. It’s up to you!  We just want all the fics with all the sexy inspiration.

Add your fic to our AO3 collection all month. On June 1, work will be opened with authors staying anonymous for one week to allow us to have some fun highlighting fics and guessing about the writers.  One week later, writers will be revealed (unless they choose to stay anonymous.)

It made the news for weeks. Hollywood action hero murdered by soap star wife before turning the gun on herself. The world was rocked. Fans sobbed and wailed and set up shrines outside the house. The hounding from the press was relentless. Logan's grief was on full display for the 6 o'clock news. He stood still as a statue, his hand gripped tightly by his best friend's, eyes glossy as Trina cried beautifully and made a scene at the grave site, hoping the cameras caught it all. His girlfriend should've been on his other side, but her parents demanded she and her brother avoid the publicity. It's just the first of many times Lilly and Duncan would let him down.

He’s fifteen years old, his whole world has just been turned upside down and he’s been left in the care of his barely legal and not even blood related sister. He hopes there’s enough money left by the time he turns 18 to get him through college.

“I want it back. I know it was you.”

“What the hell are you talking about?” Dick’s eyes go wide and Veronica rounds on Logan.

“Of course. You’re the brains of this operation.” Fisting his shirt in her tiny hand, she tugs his face closer and Logan thinks for a moment she’s going to kiss him.

But her diary has scrambled his brain, because instead she hisses, “Something is missing from my locker and I know you have it.”

Untitled follow up to previously posted fic.

Logan flops back into the sand, closing his eyes, but it only blocks out the brightness of the sun, not that of the shiny face of Veronica. And he honestly doesn’t understand why her face takes up so much space in his mind these days. She’s still the girl he believes turned her back on her friends after Lilly. Four years of friendship. Four years of pool parties, sleep overs, tickle fights, grilled cheese and tomato soup for lunch...it’s too much to bear some times and the pain stabs to his core.

His head jerked up and down. He feels sick with the fact that for the past month and a half the school called her the worst sorts of names. The vicious rumors spread with him leading the charge made the bile rise in his throat. But never would he have allowed anyone to lay a hand on her in the physical sense.  

He wouldn’t allow anyone to put their hands on a female, that’s why he took his beating from his dad. As long as Aaron was hitting him, he wouldn’t hit Lynn. It’s time to think about changing that to hurting any person, in any way, don’t you think, Logan? It’s one thing to do it in self-defense, but this childish shit has to stop. Time to grow up. If I keep going down this road, I will be no better than Aaron and I swore I would never be like him.

“Hey.” Veronica’s soft voice breaks through his dark thoughts. “We’re going to get through this. We’ll work it out.”

Logan’s head bobs slowly. “Okay. And I’m going to make sure some changes happen. Time to use my powers for good. But let’s get back to you, that’s what is most important right now.”

Six Sentence Sunday

"Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. I'm Veronica, your new office mate." I hold out my hand. The tall dark-haired man stares at it for a second before glancing down at the manuscript in his hand. He puts it down on his desk before finally taking her hand in his own.  

"Liam Echos." His handshake is perfunctory, his tone just short of frosty. Not once does he make eye contact. "Please don't touch my stuff."

“Logan, if you think I’m playing hockey with you, there’s no way. I can’t even skate. I’ve never been before and—”

“I know.” Lacing their fingers together, he tugged her inside the facility. “I thought I’d teach you.”

“I don’t—I mean, I can’t—”

He cut off her sputtering with a kiss.

“Hey, it’s okay, V. I won’t let you fall.”

"Do you think she bought that swimsuit so she could impress Dad?"

Phin shrugs. "I mean, I think so. It didn't really seem like the thing Piz approves of, you know?"

"True. And she didn't change into it in one of the bedrooms and just show up in it.  It's like...she used it as an excuse to take off her clothes...in front of Dad!"

We both cringe. I mean, while Mom has always been really protective of what we watch on TV, Dad's standards are a little more...relaxed. Last year, we watched Love, Actually at Christmas and the first scene with a whole bunch of sex (which we later promised we would never, ever tell Mom he accidentally showed us.) Now the thing is, Mom told us about sex when we were both seven years old and lord knows Stella talks incessantly about what her first time will be like, thanks to the romance novels she steals from her much older sister, so we all know that the quickest way to sex, is being naked. And Mom and Dad were both practically and almost completely naked today. On purpose.

Six Sentence Sunday

I’m still figuring this stuff out. 

It started as a game. Just something silly to pass the time since I was alone on Christmas. I figured, who doesn’t love a good mystery. I’d put it out there and see what happened. 

If it made a connection, got someone else to feel a little better while making me less lonely, so much the better. 

Who knows maybe it’ll even lead to love.
