A big part of the enjoyment of any Josh Gates hosted show is his really goofy sense of humor.

Also, for the small contingent of Expedition Unknown fans here in the Tumblrverse, I don't know if you've run into the same problem I have. Because the Discovery Channel on occasion screws up the season and episode numbers on the shows they air, my TV service did not flag this as a new episode in my DVR library. Some previous episodes were listed as season 11 and this one is listed as season 10. So, yes, there was a new episode this week.
