Looking back on 2014 I take with me this: no matter the circumstances just keep loving the crap out of life, people, and above anything, yourself. Allow yourself to be enthusiastic about the little things, and optimistic when a bump in the road appears. Bad things are inevitable, but we all have the choice to take those hardships and use them to our advantage to learn, grow, and create something beautiful, something larger than ourselves. Thank you for allowing me to share my creative purpose with you all, and for helping me to create a platform in which to create a ripple of creativity. I ended up choosing The Paper Bag Princess as my last tutorial for how dope and powerful her character is in the book. The lesson lies in the princess realizing her worth and leaving the prince who has taken her for granted time and time again. The book ends with her off in the distance dancing and pursuing her own happiness. All in all, never settle for someone or surround yourself in an environment that is not helping you grow.
