Those ships are on the ship
They became good friends after that
Happy Birthday Ojiro!
Been staring at this, misty-eyed, for a while now…
It’s amazing how much Armin has grown, from a boy paralyzed by fear when he saw his first titan up close…to a brave soldier who stared the Colossal Titan in his face, stood his ground, and won.
If it’s really the end of his life, I’m at peace knowing this victory belongs to them. The main threats on both sides of the wall have disappeared, and while the outcome is horrible and bloody and depressing, the Survey Corps have won this battle.
I can’t imagine how much agony Armin was in, in those moments. Being burnt alive like that is the worst possible kind of pain, yet he held on. He was determined to see it through.
So I’m at peace knowing that before he fell, he truly believed in his own strength, and no one had to push him towards that realization in those final moments.
He was also surrounded by people who believed in him: his commander, his squad leaders, his squad, his closest friends - Mikasa, Jean, and in his final moments, Eren. They protected him. They trusted him. They admired his guts and his intellect. They looked up to him. They smiled at him even when everything seemed hopeless. He is precious and important to all of them.
In the end, he never had to give up his humanity for the sake of saving thousands of lives. He chose to give up his own life to save humanity. He was so willing to push himself to be someone he was never meant to be, and fought valiantly to the very finish.
You are amazing, Armin <3
So I found this
And so you’ve made this world a better place.
oh indeed

Let's talk about Aruani.
MY SHIP IS SETTING SAIL IN THE SEA OF SALTY TEARS!!!!!!
ok, first of all: “bert’s influencing armin’s love for annie” STOP, this shit doesn’t even make sense!!!! eren inherited his dad’s titan and does he suddenly fell in love with his mom?????? does he suddenly fell in love with dina fritz???? I THINK THE FUCK NOT! y'all are just making such lame excuses…
leaving that aside, let’s talk about armin and annie’s relationship: armin has always cared about annie. annie has always cared deeply about armin. that’s a fact. you can clearly see that just by reading the manga or watching the anime.
annie always seemed to have some type of feelings for armin. he was the first to ever call her a nice person, apparently, and that seems to really got her.
she really cares about his opinion of her, and she usually doesn’t give a f*ck what people think of her!
when they’re trying to lure her underground she even asked him “when did you start looking at me that way, armin?“, armin and eren were both looking at her the same way (with expressions of fear and betrayal), but annie was only looking at someone and that someone was armin. she cares more about armin looking at her that way than she does about eren screaming at her.
not to mention that she only got caught because she wanted to be a good person to armin, she knew he was lying to her but he said she will turn into a bad person to him, and she absolutely didn’t want that.
also, she was ready to kill anyone who came into her way (even jean) and yet she spared armin immediately (even though she had multiple times to kill him).
and look at this scene below, i don’t think i need to say anything else, just look at her face:
now, let’s talk about armin. armin is a sincere person and he was being genuine when he told annie she’s a nice person.
he didn’t want to expose her, but he had no choice, you can tell that just by looking at his face, he looks so upset and guilt for doing this.
she asked him why he didn’t just reveal her before (because he had the chance, but he chose not to because he really wanted to be wrong).
look at how distressed and distraught he was, he didn’t want things to end like that. he still wanted to talk it out and if you really thinks he lacked any feelings for her, then you clearly missed out on something.
i also want to add how kind of depressed he is after all this shit. and mikasa knows that. look at how armin’s expression changed when hitch spoke of annie, and mikasa immediately looked at him. he looks SO sad and guilt, and she looks really concerned about him.
now, talking about the snk 106 spoilers: out of all the people armin could talk to, he decided to talk to annie. he was trying to deal with his own emotions and he didn’t want to bother anyone, so even though annie can’t answer him, he feels safe talking to her, and i believe he has been doing it all this time, i can totally see him going there and talking to her constantly…
i think i must stop here. i hope y’all can see how much deeper their relationship is. i’m not trying to make anyone ship them, but calling it a crack ship is absolutely nonsense.
Armin’s appearance and connection with the Colossal Titan
Finally after the long anticipation for his appearance, Armin is finally there and kicking!
And on his very fist appearance we see him shifting, without having to injure himself, causing explosion even bigger and stronger than Bertholdt in the Shiganshina district, who in fact added a speed to it which means Bertholdt’s apparent strongest explosion wasn’t even close to Armin’s basic explosion and one can just assume how strong his explosion affected with speed may be. This definitely confirms “The God of Destruction” from chapter 95 being a foreshadowing for him.
Now there’s his new looks
as if Isayama wanting us to take a hint, I think we all immediately thought of his prominent similarity with a certain person of royal blood
which means Armin truly could be of a royal blood and him inheriting the Colossal Titan may not be a coincidence. On the topic, you could notice Armin’s eyes looking exactly like the Colossal Titan’s eyes now
Armin’s eyes
The Colossal Titan’s eyes
This also confirms that Bertholdt was indeed nothing just a vessel for the Colossal Titan and Armin was always fated to be the endgame holder. Isayama did state he created him just as a human version of the Colossal Titan because he realized it needed a person to pilot it beforehand. But the Colossal Titan plays a big part in Armin’s character arc. He was always there facing it, as if Isayama wanted us to see that there’s some kind of connection between them and now Armin will also have to face struggles of being the Colossal Titan, having to kill people, perhaps this explains this picture of the Colossal Titan talking to Armin, telling him “It hurts” in chapter 85
Armin and his connection to the Colossal Titan may be one of the most important things to the foundation of this story, oh and there’s this cover as well
furthering his association with the Colossal Titan.
Considering Armin might be connected to royal blood, eventually leading him to having access to all the memories of previous shifters of the Colossal Titan who attacked the Shiganshina, it makes sense why Armin is in fact the narrator of the story and why it starts with the Colossal Titan kicking off the plot. The first chapter title is also called “To you, 2000 years from now” so it could be in fact Armin telling the story to the future generations. It can be no coincidence that a titan’s suffering is shown especially to him and that he is one of the characters with most fleshed out arcs. As well as there’s Isayama always talking about the Colossal Titan’s gentle eyes and coincidence? He always talks about Armin’s eyes in that manner too, giving both of their eyes big focus.
Isayama also stated that the Colossal Titan is the symbol of spineless youth, which applies heavily to Armin who had a big dream which he eventually realized and matured from it, having no dream at all now, which Isayama talked about after the ocean chapter, where he stated he put once again a lot of focus on Armin’s eyes. Which is why his connection to the Colossal titan is so connected to Armin and why it makes a perfect sense for Armin to be the mascot of the series.
I can’t wait to see what else Isayama has in a store for Armin, who may be one of the most important characters out there
