Fritter Finder & the Pomodoro Technique (Dylan’s Post)
This week we were tasked with using out #FritterFinder and also utilizing the highly effective #PomodoroTechnique, in regards to a set of work we had to complete, and towards our whole week in general, using the Fritter Finder as our breakdown of time consumption. #TimeIsMoney
Using my Fritter Finder, I was able to utilize the Pomodoro technique during the time within my day designated to class/studying, knowing I am the type of person that gets certain jumps of energy in the night, i knew this method would come highly effective in doing my class readings for sociology, this past wednesday night. Breaking that time into chunks I was able to break down portions of the reading into 25 minute groups while taking 2-3 minute breaks of just pure relaxation within them, allowing my brain to not only rest but also have more time to deeply analyze what I was reading about within this period. #Analysis

At such a crucial point in the semester where my first year of college is coming to a ultimate close within a few weeks, it is hard to stay motivated as my mind could fluctuate to the thought of summer and being able to relax and go on vacations and be back home but finding motivation I feel will be easy for me going forward. I feel I will stick to my usual routine through self-motivation , but I will also continue to not settle for less , and I will continue to find inspiration and motivation through music, quotes, and my environment. I feel this will keep pushing me towards my goal, shoutout to Meek Mill and his album #Championships for that.
In terms of my avoidance behaviors, I am quick to turn to video games in order to #Procrastinate but I feel I am able to engage with this tendency in a positive way. I feel the best way to engage in this is to squeeze this video game into the time I have free, allowing me to engage in my work at a designated time, while also directing time for me to engage in leisure. All in all, these strategies have been a big help, keeping me in track and keeping me motivated at the same time.
