As someone who likes the God of War games I would love to know more about Kratos Techno :0 -pl
I've been obsessed with GoW since 2017. I'm praying to all deities to PLEASE give me money to buy it now that's out on PC.
And the moment, the moment I found out about the whole "Blood God" thing, my mind was already seeing the scene, the soundtrack was already playing and Techno had already "boy" my heart into oblivion
Also, this au is heavily focused on Techno, so dreamnoblade kinda takes a backseat, but it's still there
So, the au is not exactly faithful because we don't do that here. So let's go bit by bit
TECHNOBLADE is the God of War, he's Kratos. He destroyed all the Gods, including the Blood God. I don't care if the Blood God didn't exist in the mythos, Techno doesn't necessarily need to be Greek, just from a civilization with various gods
TOMMY is Atreus because yes, please, put them together in an epic adventure. He's also Wilbur's adopted brother, who knows where that Boy™ came from, Techno is under the impression Wilbur doesn't know what Tommy really is
WILBUR is Tommy's brother, and the man who accepted a wandering Technoblade into his house as family, as his own brother. He's the equivalent of Kratos' wife, sorry Wilbs but I gotta fridge you. His last wish was to have his ashes scattered from the top of the highest mount of all nine realms
DREAM is Freya. She got banned, Odin is a fuck, yadda yadda yadda, witch in the woods. She's more involved in the plot, as much as her limitations allow her, kinda reminds Techno of his late wife
GEORGE as Baldur. But he's not her son, only Odin's, and he is immortal because he demanded that Dream made him immortal, which she did, but the only spell that would work took away the feelings of... well, everything. So he hates her and wants her dead
PHILZA is Mimir because Techno and Tommy alone is NOT a good idea
SCHLATT and SAM as the dwarven brothers, because yes. Except instead of drunk and germaphobe, we got drunk and nerd.
The other characters can stay how they are, I don't care
It's pretty much the same as Kratos, except that the god that helped him was the Blood God instead of Athena that helped him, and Techno can never quite let go of his influence. Also, Techno has hair, please, give him his majestic hair. I'm thinking that the Blood God could be a child of Ares, the previous god of war
Listen. I just REALLY love Kratos' character, him dealing with his rage and his past, and I love how he takes responsibility about not being a human, therefore they should be held to higher standards than humans. Also, every time Kratos yells, it's just *chef's kiss* and I'm here like "that but Techno"
The idea of a calm character battling with a forever burning anger is PEAK character narrative, and GoW handles is like NOTHING BEFORE IT (fuck you, Hulk, one badass line will never beat an entire game), and it's exactly the type of character I imagine Techno being when the Blood God is involved as more than just a conveniently badass nickname.
And him and Tommy doing it together with the added drama of them not being related, and Techno not knowing if it's wise to tell Tommy what he is because Wilbur never really told him when or how he should tell the boy, and he can see himself in Tommy's need to prove himself and be strong and he knows how that path will go because he has had a lifetime watching it all go down--
