crying because harry’s most savage lines came when others had provoked or goaded him in some way and that’s a trait he gets from lily
not only that but their respective best lines were delivered to the same greasy potions prof, just 20 years apart
Yes!! How I wish we could read someone - mcgonagall for example, before offering a biscuit, saying “you have your mother’s…”
“eyes, yeah, I’ve been told that many times-”
“I was going to say your mother’s cheeky side. James was a troublemaker but how many times I’ve seen your mother delivering some cheeky answers for teachers”
“please tell me more about my mother”
“Carol falls down all the time, but she always gets back up — we say that about Captain America as well, but Captain America gets back up because it’s the right thing to do. Carol gets back up because ‘Fuck you.’“ - Kelly Sue DeConnick on Carol Danvers (x)

Your right to abortion shouldn’t depend on your zip code. Despite the fact that 1 in 4 will have an abortion before age 45, accessing in-clinic abortion care in the United States is often difficult - if not impossible. With less than 1,000 abortion clinics left in the United States, it’s estimated that 90% of counties in the United States do not have access to abortion care.

There’s a lot going on in the world right now, and sometimes it’s hard to know how to start difficult conversations with your friends. Luckily, there is always the mutual love of fandom to get the ball rolling. Our Black Panther Fandom Forward Toolkit is a wonderful resource for starting conversations about racial justice, immigrant justice, and colonialism.
As children wait for their morning bus to school, photographer Greg Miller is there, too, capturing their solitude.
Miller says he used to see his daughter’s school day as “another lifetime,” beginning at the end of his driveway and ending on her return home. Now, he says, as he watches her bus disappear down the road, he hopes her life doesn’t end between those hours.
His recent series, Morning Bus, explores that terrible hope through capturing the quiet of children as they wait for their bus.
