Before leaving South Africa and Africa, America was heaven and when you then live in African American environments you realise that your dream heaven actually is hell for other people, and the people that were born there that are citizens there, wow! Apartheid is horrible but at least we know that the system hates us, it is better to know where you stand than live under the myth of freedom and a democracy and I look at you, your ghettoes are much more filthier much more worse than where I was from and I’ve come from the worse system (apartheid) in the world.  So it was at that time quite traumatic.
