THE END OF AN ERA

Hi everyone, 

I am, of course, as shocked as anyone else by Tumblr’s new rules. I don’t necessarily mind that porn blogs are getting shut down - this isn’t something new - but I am alarmed at this aggressive action towards the internet’s queer and alternative communities. 

Tumblr has long been a safe place for queer, nonbinary folks who need an outlet; who need to know they’re not alone; who need that place for they are finally just accepted for who they are. Now, Tumblr is very clearly stating that our “ilk”, our “kind”, are not welcome here. 

I am so grateful for my experience here over the past years, and especially over the last nine months since starting this blog. Feel free to download anything from my page for your continued use. 

A huge THANK YOU to my 1400+ followers. You’ve made this an incredible journey. 

Hopefully, we’ll find each other on the next platform that steps up to make us, society’s outcasts and refuse, feel like we again have a home.
