“we do get nervous before a show, but there’s something we do before we go up. we all say, ‘let’s bring it!’, as a way of cheering. when we do that before a show, that’s when it really sinks in that we’re really starting, we’re here to perform, and meet our fans. the moment on stage; it’s really fast. the reason why we go ‘let’s feel it’ is really we wanted to feel the moment, ‘cause it goes really quick. so we really say ‘let’s feel it’ before we go on stage. that’s why we do it.”

“for me, i would have to say it’s the people that listen to our music and they always come up to us and say ‘your music saved my life, i listen to you guys when i’m sad or when i’m happy’. that’s just...i think everybody would agree that’s one reason, and the only reason we do music is to connect with other people. share our emotions with their emotions, so we can get healed by doing that. it’s like a little therapy session. that’s like the one important thing. not the sales, not how good maybe the song came out or didn’t come out. it’s more about how many people listened to it and said ‘you know what, i could actually listen to this and feel a certain feeling’.”
