why do i feel so solitary

I am actually in disbelief and shock at how many ppl like Cal and hate Andre.

Yea I think there’s a sizable amount of people with common sense but mfs defend Cal with their life like he can do no wrong.

He was totally conditioning Andre and significantly motivated him. I also think he is more deceitful and sinister than Andre because even in death, Cal wanted to seem like a white knight by not shooting at the police and being the one to tell Andre it was enough. Don’t misquote me—I think he’s well written and interesting and also not completely at fault. I actually do believe Andre put the idea in his head (no matter what the movie says I don’t give a fuck Cal is an appeasing piece of shit) I like him. But fandom just can’t seem to understand him outside of being a perfect baby. Some go as far as saying he was manipulated by Andre. Found footage is very purposeful. It’s the only genre of movie that’s first person. This gives the opportunity of whomever holds the camera to frame the story to their will. Cal holds the camera, he purposefully entraps Andre as the greater of two evils. How someone could gather that Andre was the manipulator in this situation, I’m not sure.
