"Holy shit; you scared me. Thought you were Peeves for half a second."
I seem to have that affect on people every once in a while. Normally though, they're just in pure awe of my awesome.

The sun had slowly began to fall over the plains that surrounded the Hogwarts castle. Seeking a moment or two of peace and simply quiet, James retreated from the halls and onto the windy grounds. His bag strap lay gently against his shoulder as he move slowly towards the black lake.
While the two walked hand in hand Lily rested her chin against his shoulder, gazing up at him lovingly. The hand that held onto the bouquet gripped the flowers tight. A smile spread across her face once more as she admired his features. “You’re a big sap,” she muttered, laughing yet again. “But you’re my big sap.”
"You love me for my sap." He teased, nudging her gently as they finally found themselves inside the Gryffindor common room. "Ah, home sweet home." He nodded, looking over towards her with a small smile playing over his lips. "Ya know what might actually be a bit better than this?"
"Or..." She lifted one hand, her index finger held up to signify one minute. As if her idea was so grand that it needed a moment to be processed even thought it really wasn't. "We can go to the common room and have a little privacy. Just the two of us by the fireplace like the first time we kissed."
Pulling his bottom lip into his mouth, he nodded his head slightly. "I think that idea is much better than mine." He said with a small smirk before leaning his head down to press a final kiss against her lips. As he pulled away from her, his hand moving to hers before taking her fingers between his own.
Lily's nose brushed against James' as their foreheads met. Taking a deep breath her green eyes shut and she basked in the moment for a few seconds before pulling back. She managed to steal one last kiss before taking one step back. "We're making a scene now, Potter," she began as a light laugh accompanied her words. "Not everyone wants to see a couple snogging in the halls."
"Who cares." He teased shrugging his shoulders as he moved his head from hers, his body not wanting to leave her side. "Tell me, how do two celebrate such a momentous occasion in their lives? Snog by the river?" He teased with a small smirk, his eyes looking to hers.
As soon as he sat down beside her Lily reached both hands out, cupping his cheeks in each Palm. Scooting in closer she closed the distance between the two. Once he pulled the lilies out from behind his back a few giggles escaped her lips. Her hands dropping only to capture the bouquet, bringing the flowers up to her nose to sniff the sweet scent. Placing them down onto her lap she leaned in and pressed her lips to him. "You didn't have to go all out like that, Potter. You know I would have said yes anyway. I love you." The last three words were muttered against his lips as she went in for another kiss.
"I know I didn't have to, but I figured why the hell not go all out. It's not everyday you ask out the love of your life, well, it's not every day that you do it and actually expect her to say yes." He teased, pecking her lips back gently as his hands moved to her waist. "I love you too." He muttered in reply, his eyes closing slowly as he gently rested his forehead against hers.

—Upon hearing the song Lily began to laugh softly—
You’re not doing this again, are you?
He laughed and shook his head a bit before moving beside her, "I figured I'd serenade you a bit before I asked you if you'd be my girlfriend." He said with a small smirk, his hand moving from behind his back to show a bundle a of white lilies. "Lily Evans, you are so much greater than even I imagined you to be. Spending these past few weeks with you has been nothing short of spectacular. I'm not really good at these emotional speeches, but I can honestly say that I am completely in love with you, and I couldn't imagine spending another day of my life without you.."
Jily
You’re vague answers aren’t making it any better. What do you want to do?
I wanted to sing you a song.
-smirks a little, taking her hand into his;
Hey Judeeeeee, don't make it bad. Take a sad songgg, and make it betterrr.
Jily
Sit down? —Raises a brow as she lowered herself onto the seat— What did you do..?
I didn't DO anything, there's something I want to do though.
-smirks a little bit, his brow perking up.;
Jily
Okay, Potter, you said you had something you wanted to talk about? What was it?
Yeah, indeed I did. You might want to sit down for this one, Evans.
At first, Lily had planned on letting James walk off, but as she came down from the high Lucinda’s words echoed in her head. For some strange reason even her nagging thoughts sounded like the blonde. Tell him. Tell him now. “James, wait…” she called out once he was nearly towards the end of the corridor. Her voice caught in her throat, nervous for the first time since his kisses managed to relax her. “I love you.” When the words escaped she winced. There was nothing graceful about that declaration. It wasn’t how she wanted it to go, but there was no going back. Once they were out there she stared at him, jaw open. She had managed to shock herself yet again. A natural occurrence since the two Gryffindor’s began whatever it is they were to each other. It was then she felt all of the eyes on her.
His footsteps seemed to echo around the corridor as he walked, his hand hanging over the bag that carried the surplus amount of books, and that was when he heard her once more. Turning to her, his brow perked up. "Ya?" He said at her first statement before listening on. His jaw dropped as her voice rang through his ears. It was as though the words continued to ring with each passing second. With a smile plaguing over his lips, he couldn't help but rush over to her. His hands quickly formed around her pale cheeks as he pressed his lips against hers once more only after muttering against her full red lips. "I love you too."
A soft groan fell from her lips once their lips broke apart — not pleased with the kiss ending so abruptly. Upon mentioning Skeeter she took one step back, clearing her throat, then knelt down to collect her book. He was right, she didn’t want everyone calling her a slag on top of everything else she had to deal with. “They haven’t been very easy on me, either,” she blurted out. When the words were out there was no way of taking them back. Immediately, she stood up, books in hand. “I missed you, too, Potter. A lot, actually.”
"Let's just not ignore each other anymore, cause not seeing you sucks." He said with a smile, his head leaning in to press his lips against hers gentl once more. "I have class I have to get too though, sadly, so see you in the commons later?" He asked, his hands moving from her waist slowly as he let a frown fall over his feathers. He really didn't want to leave her. Turning on a heel after a moment of staring into hers eyes, he began down the corridor.
Her heart dropped the moment he mentioned missing her and Lily wanted to repeat the words back to him, but just as she opened her mouth only silence fell from it. It was hard to render her speechless. James seemed to do it often, though. As he drew in closer his scent filled her nostril, bringing her back to that moment in the common room — their first kiss. It was almost as if he had been reading her mind. Once their lips met she made no attempt to pull away. In fact, the books she hugged tightly to her chest were released, falling to the ground, as she lifted her arms wrap around him.
As he kissed her gently, his hands moved slowly to her waist as he pulled her body against his gently. His lips played against hers only for a moment as he pulled away. "Don't want Skeeter to have another little inside scoop." He muttered, not knowing if it was too soon to joke about what had happened. "Next time, please don't avoid me.. These past few days have been horrid."
Seeing James flustered, not knowing what to say, almost made Lily laugh. She managed to keep a straight face, reminding herself how serious their situation was. “Yes…” she murmured, her head nodding as the word slipped out. “She messed a lot of stuff up.” Her gaze dropped, green eyes staring at the tiles that surrounded her feet. For some reason that put her a little at ease. “I should have… Um… I’m sorry I—” She took a deep breath before continuing. “Not coming to you when the article came out was a bad idea and I’m sorry for it.” She finally looked at him once more. “How are you holding up? Better than me, I presume.”
"Apologies." He reminded her, his eyes looking away as she leaned her head down. She was still the same Lily that he knew and loved, but she seemed even more nervous than before. "I'm.. I'm okay.. I just missed you." He muttered honestly, his eyes overlooking her body for a moment. He didn't care that they were in a crowded hallway, all he cared about what getting the point across that he still felt the same as before the article went out, the same as before they had sex. His fingers moved to her chin before slowly bringing her head up. Once he could see her eyes, he pressed his lips firmly against hers.
Upon hearing James voice Lily debating on picking up the pace and jogging back to the common room, but something stopped her. Turning around her green hues met his eyes just as her breath was caught in her throat. “Potter?” she questioned as if she was shocked when in all reality she recognized voice immediately. “You’re… Um… You’re right. We do need to talk.”
Withing a few seconds she turned to face him. Nodding his head, he didn't know where to start, or how to start. His mouth opening for a moment. "Right.. So." He muttered, his eyes looking to hers, "that erm Skeeter. Ya she kind of messed some stuff up, eh?" He asked, quirking up his brow.
-While walking the halls she kept her green eyes to the floor, refusing to look up and face people. Her pace was picked up upon hearing foot steps behind her. She had been avoiding everyone, especially James, since the latest Rita Skeeter article-
-His footsteps were soft and quick as his eyes stared down at the ground. Pulling his bottom lip in quickly, his eyes shot up as he heard footsteps walking more quickly in front of him. Seeing the back of Evan's red hair, he bit down more roughly.-
Evans?
-He asked before jogging up to her quickly.-
Evans, stop. Come on, we have to talk about this.
When her eyes fell upon the flimsy cloth Lily’s hand shot out and grabbed it, pulling it up her long legs with ease. She then turned to him so their eyes met, a chortle escaping her parted lips. “Anybody could have seen us, you know. I can’t believe I did that, but… This isn’t the first time I said that around you.”
Once his pants were lifted, adjusted, and belt tightened Lily drew in closer to him. She climbed onto his lap, her back leaning against his chest. “You make me do a lot of things I normally wouldn’t.”
"I can honestly say I can't believe I did that either. It was a bit wild, but I can say that the wildness was also quite sexy in my opinion." He said flashing her a small smile as he fixed his tie and returned to relaxing against his arms.
As she climbed into his lap, a small smile played his lips. His arms wrapped around her midsection as she relaxed her body against his chest. Pressing a soft kiss against her cheek, he allowed his head to rest softly against her shoulder. "Is that a bad thing?" He asked with a raised brow.
