"Is that- Don't you dare wave at me like that, you little shit."
Marlene carefully approached the Hufflepuff's table in the Great Hall. Standing in front of the familiar badger, she cleared her throat in order to make her presence known. "Hi Dorcas. Can we talk?"
Could you pass me that book? I can't reach it from here
You can't be serious.
"Alright, where the hell is it? I put it down right here, and now it's gone. Where the hell is it?!"
Have you seen any of my books? Peeves stole my bag and seems to have hidden all my things.
Problem Solving // Marlene + James
At this current time in Marlene's life, she would need more than two hands to count all her problems. There was the fighting with Dorcas, the possible problematic relationship brewing between her and Alec, the never ending silence going on between her and Marcus, and an endless list of other things that were starting to give her a headache the longer she thought about it. But the one problem that needed her immediate attention was her Quidditch crisis. Marlene had never missed a Quidditch match since she joined the team in third year. She never missed a chance to destroy other teams on the pitch and usually tried to be on her best behavior purely for the opportunity to play. But her potions grade had been slipping lately and since she never got the chance to pull them back up, mostly because her assigned tutor was a total bitch, and the other night Flitch caught her outside Gryffindor Tower after curfew and took her straight to McGonagall's office. The head of Gryffindor had no choice but to punish Marlene, despite all of the young blonde's protests.
If the fact that Marlene was being forced to sit out during one of the most important Quidditch matches of the season wasn't bad enough, now she had to fess up to her wrong doings to James. She knew he was probably going to be disappointed in her. The last thing Marlene wanted was for Captain James Potter to chew her out. Nevertheless, she trudged off to the locker room and waited 'til everyone else on the team left before approaching the dark haired boy.
"Hey James, we need to talk...."
She had been sitting a the library table for over twenty minutes, and Amelia Bones was just about fed up. The fourth year that she was supposed to tutor in Astronomy hadn't shown up, Amelia was left there alone, twiddling her thumbs. With all of the other pressures that had been added to her during the course of the school year, the last thing she had expected was to be asked to be a tutor.
But here she was, textbook in hand, and if she was being honest with herself she felt fairly stupid. She began stuffing her books into her bookbag, only to be stopped suddenly by someone's approach to her table. She felt their shadow over her as she leaned over her bag and she snapped at them "What do you want?" She asked rudely, before realizing that she didn't even know who she was speaking too. Her face heated up and she popped her head out of her bag. "I'm sorry, it's been a long day." She said, apologetically.
