Sith Pureblood Headcanons: Civilian Life (Vol.1)
So you gotta keep in mind that we don’t see much of civilian life in games like SWToR. We just see what the military is doing.
And if real life says anything about the differences between a military and the citizens that make up a country, I think we can garner that likely many don’t live in the same world as those in the military do.
We most certainly don’t see the lives of regular Sith Purebloods. You don’t see even npcs of them walking around. I know on a non-lore level this is because humans are a default race, etc. but I got some headcanons as for lore reasons why they do this, but more importantly what they doing.
The average Sith Pureblood citizen chooses to live only around others in their species
I feel like this is obvious. They’re a very communal species and I think a lot of them are like “ew these humans don’t understand us or our OG traditions🥱we’re living with each other so we can do sith shit in peace😈”
They live in more rural areas with a commune type lifestyle
Following up on my last point, the Sith likely just like living in Sith Pureblood-only communities where they can be self sufficient and close knit. Like, there’s more than enough humans. Give them a lil city and we’ll live elsewhere.
Prior to the Jedi Exiles, the Sith lived a pretty rural lifestyle. I assume this is how they still prefer to live and likely why we don’t see them. Mfs wanna be in nature with their people living off the land—and fighting Jedi, sometimes
They wear a lot of jewelries and bright colored clothes
If you seen the OGs, you know they was dressing dressing. Gold everywhere. Jewels everywhere. Precious metals everywhere. Colorful and bombastic cloths everywhere. I don’t think this is something they would lose over a few centuries.
Yeah, maybe their military uniforms are drab —because it’s an institution now and not a bunch of atomized Circles and Lords—but I really feeling the average Sith Pureblood still dresses like that to an extent. It’s likely modernized for the setting but even in the character creation thing you can give them some elegant but minimalist facial jewelry.
They probably fr be swagging when they’re not fighting for they mf life on the galactic battlefield
They own a lot of pets and beasts
It’s no secret, sith love they sithspawn and beasts. I think that this most definitely extends to the civilians too.
And since they live pretty rural lives, they have a very “you protect me, I feed you” relationship with certain predator species.
It also would make sense for a species who had to be carnivorous due lack of viable land that they would end up being close to animals.
For centuries, the Sith had to depend heavily on animal husbandry for their survival. They gotta have great respect for creatures because of this
They have a special “sith pureblood communities only” currency
I’m not saying they not tapped into the galactic economy—they is—but stating true to their roots, I really feel like there’s some alternative currency you can only use in Sith Pureblood communities.
This would keep a steady and exclusive income in the hands of Sith Pureblood communities. You could also exchange the Sith Pureblood Bucks for Credits and the likes, but the Sith Empire gives you way more credits in exchange for one Sith Buck.
Now, this is Sith Pureblood only currency so it rarely ever leaves the hands of Sith communities. if you caught with one and not Sith Pureblood, you better hide that shit because they’ll be on your top major
