A casual Bakura Ryou themed multimedia creative event where we’re using previously collected prompts for one week to make as much as we can together!
This is an installment of the Bakubang Speedrun series of events—specifically this is the Summer Edition!

The Summer Edition is happening July 26, 2026 12:00AM PDT - August 1, 2026 11:59PM PDT. You’re free to pregame the event if you would like!

Why No Prompting Period This Time?
Mostly so that this is an even more casual style event, but also so I can save energy for a potential Bakubang Speedrun around the time of Bakura Ryou’s birthday around late August/early September!
How Do I Use Prompts?
Since there is no claiming or assignment of prompts, anyone can choose any prompt to use, even if someone else is already making something for it!
Pick whichever prompt strikes your fancy. Pick multiple prompts if you are so inclined to make multiple things!
Can I Use a SFW Prompt for Not SFW Things?
If you are 18+ hell yeah, do it, be free forever! See the detailed clarification post here.
How Do I Post Not SFW Things?
Apparently Squidge is a good image hosting site for this if you are 18+. Ao3 is also your friend with things tumblr may not want you to post. If you post Not SFW things for this event you agree you are 18+.

by the way if anyone is interested i have been making a Spreadsheet with every part of yugioh in it and my estimation of the timeline so you can look at it if you want
the orange colored titles in the anime column mean they're Toei animation episodes to differentiate them from the handful of Gallop episodes that also adapted parts of the same manga chapters.
in the game/penalty columns red means someone died and orange means someone was injured but i really was only tracking that for shits and giggles through the first part of the manga and the toei anime and didn't keep track of anyone who got maimed, trapped in a shadow game, or their soul lost in later seasons

Recently I started a little project on my Neocities site of making an Yu-Gi-Oh focused page! I wanted to have to have an place where I could archive a bunch of interesting things I've found online that not everyone knows about
There are links to interviews with people who worked on the series, a bunch of interesting trivia and a tiny section on the fandom, and I hope to add even more stuff in the future, including stuff related to the sequel series (unfortunately I don't know as much about them)
It is still under construction, so if anyone wants to give me any suggestions of things or topics to add here, please go for it! It would be of great help
