ALRIGHT HEYA IT’S ME AGAIN (VINDERELLA) but um yeah oops this is cAYDEN BUT honestly just call him cay lmao like it’s been literally centuries since someone cALLED HIM THAT !! .............. anyway, here’s a few things to know about this geek ass vampire boy.
he died at 19 :( poor bb was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and being him back then he was so “fellas pls no need for trouble” like shUT UP omfg but ofc he didn’t shut up, so yikes. but he’s super old like so long ago rip.
his ‘vampire mother’ [ aka the old bat who turned him, who somEHOW WAS CONVENIENTLY THERE hmmm coincidence i think not :~) ] literally scooped him up, made him undead, and took him in as one of her many “children”---instead of being the older brother, he was now the youngest sibling of four (even though later on, he somehow ended up becoming an ‘older sibling’ again, to like, two more). which was just as odd to him as the entire vampire gig.
as time progressed, cayden learned how to control things, blah blah. ‘mother’ gave him a daylight ring so he can go out in the sun, along with his other ‘siblings’, to... do whatever her task of the day was. honestly even in present day he still wasn’t sure what kind of cult she was ringleader of--and he thinks he’s better off that way.
but eventually one of the eldest kindred decided to rally against her. it wasn’t too surprising when like half of them came together with one big conspiracy to overthrow their mother. that surprisingly worked. and which cayden was only really part of, honestly, because he didn’t want to live in an actual colony. he wanted to go out and do whatever he wanted, whenever.
which is why he’s so fucking hedonistic and experimental and he’s so grossly into art stuff, theatre, and writing, photography, etc. nerd. huuuuge nerd. but he’s also moody af sometimes cause it’s like ??? he hasn’t had anyone for the longest time (aside from whimsical one night stands around the world before coming back to halloweentown prep). but now oops he’s been back at school for a while now (which he doesnt mind because dork but regardless), and apparently he has a genuine blood relative; a human named (*anticlimactic drum roll*) cameron.
but yeah he’s cameron’s second great-granduncle; cameron’s great grandfather was cayden’s (*gasp*) younger brother.
and this school year was the first time they (cayden and cameron) have properly met. which could've been... different, maybe, if cameron’s parents didn’t tell him that the boys were some type of cousins. yikes, again.
and for ref idk but he’s pansexual/panromantic af he doesn’t care as long as he can like the person for themselves you feel.
