“ It’d fit the scene surely, ” Vance smiled. His attention quickly turned back to the bottle Gemini was downing. “ Yikes- take it you’re fond of that poison. What is that, wine? ”
“I don’t even know what to say about that… Are you sure I’m the right person to bring it up with?”
“ Oh shit... maybe that was a bit too personal of a question, ” Vance mumbled.

Vance jumped slightly at the girl appearing next to him. “ Shit-! Do you always do that to people? ” He raised a brow at Cora before looking back down at his notebook, a small smile forming from the corner of his lips.
“You’re going to want to get the fuck out of my face and step off, because if I have to look at you again, I’m going to put your head through that wall.”
“ Uh- still confused on what exactly you’re so pissed about..? ” Vance was trying to hide a small grin, wanting to take the guy seriously but not able. It’s difficult to take anything serious when you don’t know what’s going on in the first place. The blonde leaned back slightly as the other advanced, brows arching. “ Seriously, mate, I have no idea what you’re going on about, ” He chuckled.

“Actually, you can.” she grinned, yet her tone was dry. The lack of infliction in her voice revealed her inability to care about interrupting his reading, and even more so when she peered over. Upon catching a glimpse of the text, her fuchsia lips pursed with curiosity. “Is that a book about charms?”
“And how can I?” Vance closed his book, looking up at the girl in a curious manner. At her question he nodded. “Yeah, studying. Have to catch up because of my transfer here.”

“It’s just the usual, really. Some kid has disappeared and we’re all still on lockdown. Usual stuff.”
“ Looks like I’ll never adjust to this school then- being new and all, ” He grinned.
Freya smiled at the boy when he talked to her. She’d been semi talking to herself but other people were more fun.” Yeah,everyone’s all gloom and doom about the lockdown and missing girl. Like I get that everyones stressed but don’t get all depressed as well.”
“ Yeah, ” Vance shrugged, not really having an opinion on the whole situation from only being here three days. “ I don’t know, I’m just observing and waiting until we can get the hell out of here. ”

“ Well, welcome to hell, Barbie. It’s still high school, so there’s bound to be some realty show type shit happening even after this is over; and mixing that with supernatural students? It’s just that much worse. ” He told the boy with a shrug. “ If y’ can’t handle it, you came to the wrong school, dude. ” With a chuckle and a smirk, he emphasized the word ‘wrong’ and observed him curiously.
“ Barbie? ” Vance titled his head slightly, thinking over the pet name. He didn’t know what to think so he let it slide. “ Sounds like a Twilight shit show. ” The boy frowned gently, eyeing the other for a moment before glancing down at his hands. “ Nah, ” Vance laughed, “ I think I can handle it. Transferring late to an all new setting with all new people during a lockdown just wasn’t what I was- expecting. ”
“ No problem-o. ” She replied with a welcoming smile. “ Oh don’t worry, I’m totally with you on that; this whole thing about Echo disappearing is leaving me a bit uneasy and really jumpy, which isn’t the best on my sanity. But hey, you seem to be going pretty well, from what I can see. ”
Vance felt the most relaxed so far around her from all the people he’s met. His muscles relaxed and his face became softer. A drastic, more natural change. “ Yeah, I totally understand that. I don’t even know who this girl is… but thank you. ” He gave her a warm smile back before shoving his hands into his front pockets.

Cecile hovered over the boy she had seen a few times. From what she could gather, he seemed a little timid. Taking a few steps closer, the blonde girl put her hands behind her back and looked. “No,” she replied. Caught! “I was wondering if you were reading anything exciting, but it’s just a textbook.”
Vance pursed his lips out of habit and shook his blonde head. “ Nope. Just a boring old textbook sadly. Transferring in late really puts you behind so this is the only reading material I’ll be using for the next week. ”
“no i’m not going to suck your blood, but i’ll definitely have a slice of you later.” connor said with a small wink before turning away.
Vance didn’t know what to say at first. He blinked a few times, processing the male’s words before opening his mouth. “ Uh- thanks? I s’pose that was a compliment. ” He laughed gently before giving a smile.
“Well, this all seems… horrible.”
“ Exactly my thoughts. And I have no idea what’s going on either. ”
“Being cooped up in his ballroom has been driving me insane, but it has got me thinking. Why don’t animals bark, croak or meow in different accents?”
“ Uh- ” Vance glanced around them, processing what the stranger had asked. “ I actually don’t know? Never thought of that before. ” The blonde chuckled lightly.
“ Wow, and right when I was actually getting used to this shit, it got worse. Well if a hunter or whatever took Echo is still down here, and I’m not near any large or sharp objects, I’m using you as a shield. –No offense though. ”
“ Wha-? Uh, none taken. But I have no idea what to think about all this besides be anxious... This is the most drama I’ve witnessed in this short of time. And I’ve only been here for two days now. ”
