WAIT WAIT HOLY FUCK

okay. dancing. leads and follows. i think the alnst crew has a VERY interesting dynamic with all of them-

Luka was trained to be a lead. He does so very effectively in ROMH. He was trained to be a lead, but he would follow Hyuna to the ends of the earth. Hyuna's protective instinct (or desire for revenge, or both) destroys her, and pushes Luka to take his own lead (the dance part, and the leash).

Ivan would likely have also been trained as a lead. Perfect image and all. But Till doesn't follow him. And so Ivan stays, Ivan shadows. His initiative protects Till, but at the last moment after a lifetime of passivity. Till would likely have resisted the dance lessons entirely.

Mizi was trained as a follow, likely. Her whole conflict involves clumsily grasping for the lead, but not knowing what to do with it when she has it. Sua is the perfect follow, the perfect pet. But her initiative is what kickstarts Mizi. Her insistence that Mizi live and not follow her into death. Mizi is lost without her lead, her god, her universe.

AHHH I just saw this!! Loved reading the analysis (so on point as well?? Amazing!)

I will admit however I didn’t put that much thought into follows and leads 🫣 I mostly instinctively picked out references that I thought matched their vibes 😆. I did put thought into how they are looking (or lack thereof) at one another though!
