BIGBANG, the first Korean artist to receive Italian MTV ‘Best artist from the world’ award

[마이데일리=최지예 기자] BIGBANG received “BEST ARTIST FROM THE WORLD” award from “Italian MTV Awards 2016”.

In “Italian MTV Awards 2016” held on the 19 (local time) in Firenze, Italia, BIGBANG became the only Korean singer to receive an award, to draw keen attention.

BIGBANG proved their worldwide popularity, by receiving an award in the music festival along with famous local artists such as Negramaro and The Kolors, as well as world-famous pop artists including Avril Lavigne, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, and One Direction.

On June 20, G-DRAGON expressed gratitude for fans on his social media account, saying, “I thank VIP fans who gave us great love”.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of BIGBANG’s debut. In celebration of the anniversary, BIGBANG is preparing for a variety of projects for fans.

Movie “BIGBANG MADE”, the first of the projects, will be exclusively released on June 30 at CGV.

lady meow-meow: do you like being the center of attention? how about dressing up?

Sometimes you just can’t help it? Especially when you’re in this kind of occupation. Not that I don’t enjoy it, there are also times where I just want to hide from all the attention. About dressing up.. I just wear whatever it is comfortable for me, though I’m not really into fashion stuff like Jiyong does, I still like to collect those small accessories, nothing fancy though.

tubbs: are you a picky eater?

Not really? I eat pretty much everything.

peaches: do you ever go back on your word, or are you one to always keep a promise, no matter what?

Before making any promises, I always make sure if I’m capable enough to fulfill it, and I always try my best to keep each and every one of them.

tabitha: talk about one of your favorite pass times!

Pass times... I think it would be the time when I was still a trainee, I always tried to sneak into 1TYM’s dressing room to see the stuff they had. They got so many cool stuff, the clothes, the accessories.. even though I don’t personally really into such things like Jiyong, but I always thought about how awesome it must be to have those awesome cool stuff, it was one of the small things that sort of motivated me just so I can debut later on.

cocoa: do you think it is important to make fast decisions?

As for me, I think, it’s kind of rare for me to make any fast decisions. It depends on the situation, I guess? I think we have to think carefully about every decision that we’re going to take.
