Found a lil scared #youth bird on our sidewalk yesterday and I built him a cardboard box nest on our back porch. I figured he was rattled and would fly off after a few hours, but he camped out overnight and barely moved.

During the night I had a dream he was a beautiful oriole and he was swooping through the neighborhood doing tricks but when I AWOKE…. He was still in his makeshift nest :(

Went out again at 8:30am and he was nowhere to be found. I thought a wicked wind blew him into a pile of pine needles, but then Bailey told me to look up and he was in the tree!! Fluttering and getting his bearings. Came out again at 9 and he was gone. Probably soaring the Grand Canyon as we speak.
