This is actually the waste from a plant (southern U.S.). It will go straight to scrap metal and be recycled. How cool would it be to hang something like this along a wall, maybe backlight it. I could probably start a business buying their scraps!

ISPJ squad

We’ve been very cute the past week, the journalism crew (Nedim and Alexandra and Marija and myself, plus Stefan when he shows up). We all got together for a movie night on Sunday to watch a ‘90s Serbian classic, Lanjanje Na Zvezde - Barking at the Stars - which not only features 1960′s Yugoslavia in all of its idyllic glory but also a main character who bears a striking resemblance to Heath Ledger, but better-looking. We drank wine and ate chocolate and it was very cute. 

Then yesterday after our final Serbian exams, written and speaking, Alexandra and Nedim and I strolled down to the Sava to walk along the riverside. We ended up watching the most glorious sunset over the water before heading home to hydrate before a Bikram yoga class this morning. After class, which was sweaty and exhausting and very fun, we ate salads in Republic Square, looking disheveled and wet-headed, wearing backpacks and sneakers. We looked like sweaty tourists and it was great. Love this crew!
