Something that i think ia really well executed in evolution is the conflict between free, trad, and kris it feels very real and much more complicated than a lot of other conflicts in burst

there isnt really a 'right side' in the issue it all depends on what you believe is the most important thing to have on a team, accountability, strong players, or trust and even if you agree mostly with one member, it feels like you would still have some problems with their overall philosophy and vice versa with who you disagree with

no one was really being unreasonable, they were just doing what they thought was best for the team, which made their conflict feel a lot less frustrating and annoying compared to a lot of other character conflicts in evo

Hikaru no go is a sorrowful story about grief and the loss of childhood that pretends to be a light-hearted sports shounen and it always makes me want to bang my head into a wall. AUGH hikaru...that smiling child vanished somewhere into that solitary room. What are you supposed to do when the person who was so important to you that it devoured your life just leaves. To everyone else Hikaru suddenly became a lonely person who would look at the game he loved with such sad eyes. auugjggbbg hikaru
