Cara was heading home when she noticed something off. She walked into the building only to see a dark figure. Furrowing her brows, she saw the girl and followed her. She stayed quiet and watched her carefully to see what she was doing. Her eyes narrowed at the items in her hands, praying it wasn’t what she thought it was. She couldn’t deal with another bomb situation.
As she moved closer, she continued to watch until the girl came out from under the counter. Her head tilted and her arms were crossed. “Following you. You said it yourself, it’s closed so what are you doing here?”
Sitting so she wasn’t just looking stupid, laying down on the floor, Kimi gestured to the duct tape. “Just having a bit of harmless fun,” she said, pushing herself up to stand and brushing her pants off. “Nothing that concerning really.”
She looked up and tilted her head, the face registering as vaguely familiar. “You’re the youngest Barnes-Romanoff kid, yeah?” Kimi finally realized. “Want in on this?”
