Hello there everyone, and welcome to the waiting room of Hell! I cannot believe it's been an entire year since I started this AU and I never made this. But anyway, below you'll find a list of every chapter of A Case of Ladybug Luck, along with the fic's summary! Feel free to ask me about it, this AU is genuinely one of my favorites! It's really angsty, lots of good stuff here!
I will be updating this frequently with content from across this AU! Currently I have the main fic and the what-if fic, but more ideas are on the drawing board! You can find everything below the cut! I will be leaving the summary for ACOLL here, anyone interested is more than welcome to shoot me an ask! Please mind the tags and warnings for each chapter, and enjoy reading!
Summary: Marinette doesn't think she can keep living like this. She never told Alya her secret, and her life is in shambles. Adrien is the only one who has noticed and tried to help, but he isn't enough. Lila has them both trapped in a web of lies they can't escape from, and their friends are all taking her side, unwilling to listen to either of them. She's losing hope. At least...at least Chat Noir noticed. She still had her partner. But when an oppurtunity presents itself to Marinette, the perfect chance to get away from this hellish existence and start brand new, she takes it, leaving Paris to deal with the consequences of her actions...

Star Wars fanfic rec: The Senator from Mustafar. In which Darth Vader travels back in time and decides to mess with everyone by becoming Mustafar's Senator, as seen by his new accountant, a SW-ized Claire Francois.
Yeah hi that's my Au! It's very important to me the plot that you all understand Vader is back in his RoTS body (almost 24 actually) and fully embraces the hotshot poster boy personality. It actively causes everyone problems.
His political platform is secretly about driving Palpatine insane! And Claire is a disaster lesbian.
If you (yes, you reading this post on tumbler dot com) are interested, feel free to send asks my way! @lordmartiya thanks for reccing the fic!
My offering for this year's celebration of my favorite disaster throuple is to put them in a situation! By which I mean that Nathalie is relentless in her simping yet again, but this is still Emilie and Gabriel's peahen in their habitat so they have to deal with her obliviousness to the fact that they love her back and she's just being silly!
The fic is rated M and intended as wholesome crack! Read the tags and enjoy! Ao3 link below the cut.

Hello there! Yes, this is what I come back to long rant posts with. Listen I actually am going to write it this time, even as a oneshot. It's just too funny for me to haphazardly toss into my WIP folder and call it a day! The basic gist is that Padme survived and went into hiding after Revenge of the Sith! However! She at least wanted to see Luke off to his new family and just…never left Tatooine. I wanted to start this at the Kenobi Show purely because I think that is the funniest and most half-reasonable place to do so, solely for the purposes of comedy. She’s staying with Obi-Wan and they sleep in the same stupid cave and hates him enough to think about punching him in the face at least twice a week. Because Padme is fairly sure this ‘Lord Vader’ guy in Imperial propaganda is totally her husband who became a Sith Lord. And is under the impression that not only does Obi-Wan know this for a fact, he’s intentionally being obtuse whenever she brings Anakin up. Not that she wants to talk about him very much.
So what does Padme do to get closure in this situation? Well…serve Darth Vader with divorce papers, of course! To his old space email of all places...so technically at his desk! If you squint!
Quite naturally, this very much confuses the local Sith Lord. And then Leia gets kidnapped so the second Obi-Wan tries to decline the rescue mission, Padme punches him in the face, picks up her gun and marches over to the nearest space port. Long story short we make it to the point where Vader actually shows up to hunt Kenobi. And Padme, being Padme, decides that if there’s even a tiny morsel of Anakin still in there, she’s going to personally find out! Or risk her life if he doesn’t care about her anymore, which she thinks is likely the case. Is this entirely in character given that Padme would put the wellbeing of her children above everything else, even Anakin? Not completely. Is she in a bad state of mind and generally miserable because of her entire life being ruined by the mentor she’s trusted since she was a young girl, who also groomed her husband into going insane and slaying younglings? Absolutely! But considering how often Obi-Wan says that Anakin is dead during their arguments—which she doesn’t know he thinks literally—Padme just wants to prove to herself that she’s right about him!
Why wasn’t she on the Lars farm with Luke before all of this? Because the mere thought of Anakin is enough to send her spiraling into depression and she self-deprecates so hard she’s fully convinced being present in her son’s life will be a net negative with all her unresolved issues. Why stay on Tatooine instead of hiding out anywhere else? Because at least it was somewhat familiar, she felt more connected to Anakin, her son is there, and she doesn’t need to fake a whole identity just to survive. There’s plenty of space in the Kenobi Cave. Also she used to go to Shmi’s grave and mourn Anakin there before Luke got old enough that he would start asking questions about it, which is actually a thing Obi-Wan does in canon! So…shared grief and no other place to go! Naboo is completely out of the question because then Palpatine will go after her family.
Anyway, back to Vader! So our other main protagonist of the Galaxy’s most dramatic divorce has just found the man who took his legs and left him for dead! He didn't think the divorce was actually from his wife and was debating if he should go interrogate her old handmaidens as to how they found out his identity. And just as he’s about to swing at Kenobi’s head and finally kill the guy, Padme jumps out of the corner and gets directly between them, causing Vader to just barely stop his swing from hitting her instead. Have I mentioned that she’s not okay?
Darth Vader.exe crashes his entire software on the spot. So he reaches out into the Force, and sure enough, that’s his allegedly deceased wife right there! And Padme of course wants Talia and Leia to escape, so she offers to surrender to him if he lets them go. Vader couldn’t care any less about the random rich kid, but is annoyed she’s refusing to let him kill Kenobi. Timeskip to being on the Star Destroyer after the Inquisitors who saw Padme get chopped to bits by their boss…and she asks him why he’s so surprised that she’s alive. She emailed him like a week ago, after all. With those divorce papers he was supposed to sign!
Every pretense of being an evil Darth Lord of the Sith gets thrown out the airlock, because what does she mean divorce? He's still loyal and would burn the Galaxy for her if she asked! Therefore, what was supposed to be a satisfying murder of Obi-Wan Kenobi gets completely derailed as Padme starts insisting that she will bring down the Empire herself if he doesn’t sign the damn papers, which Anakin refuses to do. Argument ensues, and then Padme decides that if he’s going to be mad about this, then she’s leaving anyway!
Would Vader realistically stop her by any means necessary, especially because she’s leaving with Obi-Wan of all people? Most definitely! Is this a crack fic intended primarily for comedy? Absolutely! Because Padme Amidala and Darth Vader argue like a literal divorced couple, and yes they both secretly very much want to get back together but there happens to be an Empire-shaped roadblock in the way. Oh, and also Palpatine is there too I guess.
Listen, Palpatine canonically has a sense of humor in the books/comics and he finds it hilarious that Padme came out of hiding purely to divorce his apprentice. So he’s staying out of this because Vader clearly isn’t going back to her anytime soon, and he underestimates her enough to not think she’s a credible threat without Anakin Wife-Man Skywalker potentially coming back from the grave. Obi-Wan gets a temporary pass from Vader because he’s been ‘guarding Padme’ all these years out of guilt and they have a whole divorce to deal with which is a much bigger problem.
The rest of the Kenobi Show plot goes mostly the same; Nur road trip to go pick up Leia because Padme cares about her—Vader thinks it’s because she’s technically their goddaughter, being Bail’s kid and all—and then the three of them ‘escape’ so he doesn’t have to explain to Palpatine how the entire garrison managed to lose a ten year old girl. Then Vader realizes that Obi-Wan has absconded with his wife and immediately gets back on the hunt to grab Padme. Sidenote is that Reva actually dies because he doesn’t have time to dangle her trauma around for funsies; his wife is more important. Obi/Vader duel goes mostly the same except Padme is there yelling about them being idiots and wanting so bad to hold Anakin when his mask gets broken, but then he says that he killed Anakin and Padme gets mad at him for being stubborn and stupid, so off she goes. Getting Leia home is the priority here but she will come back for that signature!
The end result is that Vader and Padme are playing cat and mouse everywhere around the Galaxy because he’s chasing her to get answers and she’s chasing him to get that divorce legalized! Everyone else just has to suffer through their insane shenanigans. Also, Luke finally gets to meet his mom and Leia also knows that Padme is her mom but stays on Alderaan because she loves her adoptive parents and being hunted by the Empire with one kid is tough enough. No the siblings don’t learn about each other.
From here on out it’s pure slapstick comedy where Padme announces to the Galaxy that she lived actually and Palpatine is evil, so she’s with the Rebellion! Vader assigns himself into going after her and bullies half the admiralty into staying out of his way, which inevitably results in hilarity! Mostly because every time he finds her the capture attempt immediately devolves into a deeply personal argument as they both promptly forget they’re supposed to be on the opposite sides of a war until removed from each other’s presence.
Yes, Vader does end up filling those papers because he loves Padme too much, but that doesn’t actually change anything because she wants him to sign as Anakin Skywalker and he’s way too stubborn to do that!
The rest of the Au is basically other people slowly finding out that Rebel Leader #1 is actually Darth Vader’s ex-wife! And everyone else is convinced they hate each other, except for Obi-Wan who has to deal with Padme crying on the floor about wanting him back. And…like half the 501rst seeing their Supreme Commander depressively wheeze whenever someone mentions her aloud. I haven’t figured out how exactly Luke and Leia fit into this bullshit but it’s only a matter of time.
I’m going to work on drafting up a oneshot for this soon! If anyone’s interested or has questions, feel free to send me an ask. Or ten! Or a hundred! Listen I haven’t gotten to properly yap about an idea in a while, it’ll make my day!

Here’s the first of three illustrations I prepared yayy :) For Sangreste Day, July 8!!!
I had a very different movie poster in mind. a more classically styled, but this turned out pretty good :D
If there were a movie, what do you think it would be about? I think it would be a series of flashbacks. An endless journey into the past, where none of the narrators can be trusted, not Nat, not Gabriel, maybe just Adrien?
Trying to go further back and recover every experience, giving it form and time even though it has none. When the forced, abstract idea of something that was and yet wasn’t at the same time becomes a foundation for your present. A foundation full of longing and delusion that is destined to collapse and, in the face of selfishness and stubbornness, take with you all those who gave you the strength you so desperately needed.
Oh yeah, the doomed downward spiral of these three fools...
Next time I see stupid Satine hate misinfo I’m gonna- (remembers Satine wouldn’t approve of me committing violence on her behalf) -explain to them why they’re wrong.
