I always come back to the first volume cover of akayona. How it feels as if she is bathing in the sea of swords and the crown feels as if it would slip any moment. The melancholy in her eyes is clear as crystal, a blow huge enough to make her whole world crumble into pieces. One she is unprepared for. One that makes her want to stop living. But she managed to wield the very blades that brought her down and hence, began the journey.

This was my first attempt to make a flat design of the same volume cover. 😭❤
