Hey finally back to posting again~! I’m so sorry for being away for so long - work’s been kicking my back in and I’ve been going through a real slump of disapproval with how everything I’m writing is coming out but I’m not about to let that stop me! Expect some more posts soon although it may take a bit for me to truly get back into routine again ^^ Thank you again so much for all of you patience and I hope you enjoy~

Draal trying to woo his little human crush is an absolute treat once he figures out he’s got feelings for you - he wouldn’t know very much about human courting customs unless he turned to Jim or the others for advice, so he’d instead make an effort to impress them at any given opportunity; this of course will start with small things like showing off his strength, sparring more often whenever you’re nearby and generally just going out of his way to gain your attention.

You can certainly expect some gifts to wind up in your possession from time to time, although they’d likely be things he’d reason have practical uses such as weaponry and the like, things that he’s sure even humans can wield; it’s all under the premise that he’s giving them to you so you can learn to properly fight of course, but really it just gives him the chance to spend more time with you to teach you how to use them properly. Of course he’s never really anything of the affectionate type so this is likely the closest you’re gonna physically get to him when he has a crush, but he’s arguably a bit softer on his demeanor when he’s around you than with most others.

He’s protective from the get-go, sure that even if you can defend yourself he can still keep an eye on you to ensure that no one will even think to mess with you, (of course it’s doubtful that anyone will when you’ve got a big burly troll right at your side); you in turn find it pretty cute having him around you all the time, especially when you manage to fluster him if you call him out on the fact, but it’s easy to see that he’s crushing hard.

Draal might turn to the trollhunter for advice on how to properly gain your attention if he isn’t sure that the interest is returned, although he probably wouldn’t tell Jim that he was actively making an effort trying to woo you (everyone would definitely already know by this point though - subtlety is definitely not Draal’s thing); if that doesn’t work though in the end he might just directly confront you about the matter after some consideration - better to be upfront than to do nothing.It really wouldn’t take you very long to figure out that he’s got a crush given he’s never been the most subtle (with what the over protectiveness and the like) but it’s up to you whether you approach him about it first or wait for him to take the lead when he works up to finally confessing.

Why did you create this blog: I’ve always wanted to make some trollhunters content since watching season 1 but by the time I’d decided to make one I was worried that I’d arrived a little too late to the fandom. Luckily for me season 2 was released not long afterwards and the rest is history~!

What do you post/reblog: Mostly headcanons scenarios and match-ups for all things trollhunters, I may post art occasionally and reblog others art too!

but I’ll put the basics here just in case: appearances, personality, hobbies and preferences are the major ones since they’re the bigger factors that determine who you’re gonna get (well except for appearance but it does help me get a better grasp of the requester) 

you can request for more than one character to be matched up with and if your match-up exceeds more than one ask feel free to send in as many as you need just be sure to mark them! (like 1/3 for example if your ask takes up 3 in total ^^) 

I can potentially do NSFW but only if the requester and character matched with are 18+ (although they might not be the prime focus of the match-up)

Okay so these doodles are pretty bad and pretty old so there’s a lot of inconsistencies but I finally caved and made some trollhunters ocs! 

Most of them are of my main oc Rakash (and his friend Juma!)since I was trying to make a character sheet for him at the time and for the most part his main job around trollmarket is a tailor, although all the things he has to do nowadays is just to patch up fabrics and things that have been torn (because hey someone has to do it X3) 

I still need to work on his markings and his bio but I just wanted to throw this out there before I talked myself out of it ^^ Hope you like it!

I'm a 5'9 straight female with shoulder length blonde hair and blue eyes I'm a straight up goodie two shoes and a big softie I love animals especially dogs I love a guy who can make me laugh and is just as big a geek as I am I'm very family oriented I LOVE mythology I have a anxiety disorder I'm usually good at handling it but I do have relapses from time to time and my hobbies are reading the internet and arts and crafts

Sorry this one came out a bit short hun I was torn on who exactly to pair you with but I compromised in the end! :3 Sow without further ado~:

I match you with Blinky and/or Arrrgh!

Blinky would certainly adore you! He can get a bit chaotic sometimes with some of his wild ideas which would be quite the contrast with your own personality so you’d hardly have to worry about a dull moment ever between the two of you (which can be both a blessing and a curse depending on what trouble exactly the pair of you have gotten yourselves into). You’ll be sure to laugh a lot just by hanging around the trollhunters gang and he loves hearing your laughter whenever you’re happy - it’s easily a sound he’ll never tire of hearing. As mythology can often walk hand in hand with history, troll history especially!, he’d be ardent to know more about your keen interest in it, wanting to know what about it exactly draws you in to learn more about it. Should Blinky ever be nearby when your anxiety relapses Blinky would turn to your interests to help keep you calm, getting you somewhere where you can pour all of your focus into quelling the unpleasant experience with things that you love, and if that doesn’t work he’s right by your side every step of the way should there be anything else he can do to help.

Arrrgh is far more tamer and smoother personality-wise and is also a huge softie so the two of you would get along great! He’s highly affection oriented and is guaranteed to make you giggle and ensure you’re happy and content at every chance possible. He might not show as strong of an interest in mythology as you do but he’d love to hear you read them to him - long nights of recounting various mythological tales cuddling up to one another is an absolute must. When your anxiety hits Arrrgh would take a more physical approach and shower you with affection and comfort in a bid to keep you calm and grounded until you’ve fully recovered, however he’ll still stick close you sou for the next few days following just to be sure that you’ll be okay.

Just curious how Blinky/Arrgh/Draal/Angor Rot react to a wooden figurine/statue replicas of themselves from their s/o or human friend who enjoys carving wood figurines as a hobby?

I’m a stressed idiot at the moment so apologies in advance if there are some errors in this one but I really wanted to get something out today for you guys since you’ve all been so patient. Also I might be closing requests soon so that I can focus on all of the requests once I can get to them. But for now I hope this is what you were looking for dear anon~! (also I made the wooden figures small for the sake of this one if this wasn’t what you had in mind please let me know! ^^)

Blinky

Blinky would be incredibly flattered by the gesture when you first present the gift to him - he’s more than likely seen you work on your wood carvings often prior to your latest creation so he’d know just how much time and effort you must have undoubtedly placed into making such a cute little figurine bearing his likeness. He’s be eager to show others what you made too! After all he wants to show off your proficiency with woodwork so you know how good your crafting skills are. Expect for him to want to give you a gift in return, specifically one that has a near equal sense of sentimental value behind it as a means of showing his appreciation for it; not to mention he’d be sure to keep the little thing close by to admire the craftsmanship from time to time.

Arrrgh

In a similar vein Arrrgh would also appreciate the wooden gift when you give it to him; once he realizes it’s a little figure of him carved into the wood you gifted him he’d be happily admiring all of the fine little details you had taken the assurance to add into the design of it. He’d likely carry it around with him often or otherwise put it somewhere out of harm’s way where others can see it and bring it up to you whenever you ask about it - it’s easily become a staple homepiece amongst his possessions. Arrrgh would also look to find you a gift too, either making one himself or giving you something he’s come across which he thinks you might like, they may only be small things but the thought and effort he makes to get you something in return is an understandably sweet gesture (plus he’ll definitely be pleased if he ever sees you carrying it with you.)

Draal

Draal would be utterly baffled by the gesture when you first give him the carving and explain that it’s a figure-esque carving of himself - sure the thought behind the small gift is a little endearing but Draal is a practical troll so he’d be somewhat confused why you made a figure for him. Seeing all of the effort you put into making it he’d likely appreciate it a lot more and would assure you that you did a good job catching his likeness with the fine carvings and small details your nimble fingers had been able to decorate it with. Similar to Blinky and Arrrgh he’d try to get you a gift - hey word try - although gift giving isn’t Draal’s strongest point so he’d likely end up getting them something really, really niche (but hey it’s the thought that counts!)

Angor Rot

Angor more than likely would just act relatively indifferent to receiving a gift from you although he can appreciate the effort that goes into wood carving so you’d at least be told that he likes the refined details if only to humor you; even if he doesn’t give a clear reaction though if it’s small enough to not be an inconvenience he might just end up keeping it around, holding it with him rather than discarding it (although it will be concealed somewhere on him so you wouldn’t really be able to tell exactly where it was or if he’s actually carrying it) If he does decide to give you something in return it will likely be hand crafted as well - something small and simple which you’ll be able to keep with you, such as a trinket or some form of tiny crafted item, maybe even a small figurine of your own for you to keep (which also may or may not look suspiciously like the small golem figures he carves but alas details, details~)

i'm curious as to what kind of matchup i'll get! :0 5'5", 21, bigender girldude with special interests in writing/storytelling, science, and psychology/psychopathology, among other things. i rarely sit still and need to be outside a lot, and my focus is all over the place, and i generally try (too hard) to be the Advice Friend; i'm very strongly opinionated and can be scathing, hypercritical, and argumentative, but i try very hard to be constructive in everything i do and to live and let live.

You never fail to intrigue Nomura from the moment the two of you first crossed paths so it’s no surprise that she finds herself growing attached to you so suddenly. She’d often enjoy reading your written pieces so long as you’re willing to share them, and is great at giving constructive criticism if you ever need it, she especially enjoys your storytelling, finding the tales you’re able to spin and create highly entertaining and a pleasure to read. Your interests in the sciences is admirable although she doesn’t have much of an interest in it herself, but psychology would certainly catch her attention and more often than not she’ll inquire more about it should she ever want to learn more about it from you.

Nomura doesn’t often get the chance to go outside much since she doesn’t often get a chance for a break or a time to relax so any chance she does have she’ll gladly spend it outside with you; it doesn’t have to be anywhere specific but she does like to have a plan of where she’s going so that the two of you can make the most out of your time out together, so don’t worry about leaving things to her in regards to dates. Whilst she does admire your drive to giving advice she does understand that not everything has an easy solution, so she’s there if you ever need a second opinion or if you’re torn trying to give advice to others.

She too is a highly opinionated individual and can often talk to you in length about certain topics or opinions whenever the mood so strikes you - in these cases they hardly advance from anything other than playful competitive discussions but given the fact the pair of you are so headstrong you do end up occasionally butting heads sometimes although it’s nothing that can’t easily be resolved by her silver tongue and way with words.

'Ey! Is it okay if I ask for the match-up? I'm 5'5, male (gay HAHa), in love with guns and a gigantic history nerd (quotes by a colleague) Anxiety is there, but I'm slowly beating it! I am quiet, but when it comes to my favourite stuff, I will spill all my beans. I enjoy fine art and archaeology. I also have a gigantic spot for animation and war! pffaha, it's like writing a tinder profile.

He too is quite the history buff (for troll history anyway) and will gladly spend hours at a time teaching you about all the history he knows and going through books with you whenever you have any questions or queries about a particular topic; in return he’ll be eager to learn as much about human history as he can from you so long as you’re willing to talk with him about it, in fact the two of you will often have ‘study dates’ in a way where you focus on learning one anothers history.

Blinky is an excellent form of encouragement with your anxiety! His words of comfort and assurance prove to be a huge source of comfort especially during the moments where things get rough and you feel like you’re backpedaling with progress on handling your anxiety; he’s always there to prove to you that you have his full support along the way. He loves just listening to you rattle on about the things which you love, adoring the way you are able to get so passionate and excited about the things which spark your interest - he could listen to you talk for hours just to see that look in your eyes whenever you talk about something you love.

Archaeology certainly piques his interest when you bring it up, especially once he sees how much you enjoy talking about it and he finds it intriguing at the variety and creativity which can be seen in all manners of architectural structures; animation isn’t quite his forte but he’ll take a look into it if you insist, on the other hand he has many tales of war (both human and troll related surprisingly) that he’d be more than happy to share with you should you ever show a particular interest into it.

Hello can I get a match up please? I am 5’8 crazy proactive mom friend, as in if someone messes with someone i care for I would fight a mofo, preferably with a Melee weapon. Though I do have a lot of patience enough to knit, draw and sew. I’m also very affectionate, I love to give hugs, friendly kisses, cuddles, and giving out compliments like it was candy . I’m a bit on the chubby side but I’m very strong to pick up and bride carry all my friends.

The two of you definitely make one hell of a pair! He admires your drive of wanting to make things happen and actively encourages it (he’s pretty proactive himself to be honest) should the event ever arise. He doesn’t quite understand the mom friend trait until he sees it for himself, the way you’re so fiercely protective over your friends and those close to you and the way you try to take care of them is something which he can often relate to. He isn’t the patient type so he won’t always watch you while you knit and sew but he’d enjoy watching you draw from time to time; if you make something for him he won’t necessarily understand the gesture since he has a penchant for more practical gifts but he’d appreciate it nonetheless since he knows the kind of work you put into making them.

Might get flustered by your openness with affection especially since Draal is reserved with the affectionate gestures unless it’s just the two of you but he’ll indulge you with a few kisses here and there if it will make you happy; he’s a lot happier to cuddle when you’re alone so he can just scoop you up into his lap and let you cuddle up to him as much as you want. He’ll never get used to the compliments - he hates them but loves them at the same time, especially when you compliment the things he does or his appearances; he’ll never admit it but whenever you shower him in compliments you’ll occasionally coax a pleased purr out of him with your words alone.

Please, please try to pick him up - it probably won’t work, just barely brushing his feet off of the ground at the most but god the sound you’d manage to get out of him would be absolutely priceless, nothing would take him off guard more than you attempting to bride carry him. Although you’ll have to explain to him immediately after that you do it to all of your friends he’ll be both flabbergasted and impressed at the upper body strength you’ve built up doing so; he’d prefer leaving the bride carrying to your friends, though he’ll definitely make a habit to carry you around bridal style from now on to give you the same treatment~
