This is a vintage tool cabinet, a Mechanics Toolbox Cabinet Stack in Garage Shop I like to call it. I wanted to get the whole cabinet and the details so I photographed it using the light painting technique, which is hand holding lights and painting in the details and shadows.

This old Kenmore heater was something to see, almost a spaceship design, or a hint of art deco. It’s more utilitarian than anything else. It belonged to my grandfather, and had been sitting on a back shelf in the garage for ages. One of those items you forget about after a time. Stairs to the Top I like the idea of where stairs can takes you, or where they are coming from. Sometimes I sit and watch people come and go, just to see how different we all are.

Shadow on the Stairs These stairs are how you get from floor to floor in a parking structure, and while I have made them look very creepy, they are very public, well lit, and not at all scary.
