the band celebrated it’s 20th birthday on the 11th of february and now it’s the time for the first birthday among the members. glad that after 20 years you are still here writing music for us. from a teenager till now, you have created melodies that touches various walks of life. 20 years was long but it also went by with a blink of an eye. maybe one day you might stop composing or maybe there might be another two decades of beautiful tunes. but whatever it is please know that your 20 years in the music industry have brought people to come together through your band’s music. bump of chicken is not only fuji kun fuji kun fuji kun. there’s hide chan, hiro and chama. people usually think of the vocalist when you mention a band’s name and he’s always the popular one. but i believe how most people first got attracted to this band is by your voice, your lyrics. and that was how i got into bump. even though you won’t be seeing this post i decided to note this down. nothing special about turning 37, but for us fans 20 years of bump of chicken is something to rejoice about. that meant 20 years of your voice. and i’m happy to be able to be part of the band’s journey. dear fuji kun congratulations on becoming 37. wishing you best of health and happiness.
