Hi hello I made a dragon and I'm love her.

Meet Zielona! :D She's a green dragon actually but she can take on a dracthyr-shaped form. She was critically wounded while aiding the Night Fae back during SL and the only healing she could get during the emergency was a big dose of anima, hence her glowing horns and hair.

In her free time she breeds ornamental lashers! Prettier colours, fancy petals, thornless, gentler dispositions… sometimes ones that look like dogs a little bit 🤔

Her dragon form is a slightly color-changed Tangled Dreamweaver. I wasn't up for drawing a whole-ass dragon just for that so I did a model edit, which is under the cut \o/

It might be just me but I feel like the existence of an item that lets anyone teleport breaks the universe? I mean imagine if everyone had access to hearthstones and used them daily. You could use them to speed up so much commute.

Oh i guess some sort of drama was happening in the background too. Something about Tyrande crying and Saurfang angsting about honour. But who cares. The implication of the commonality of the hearthstone is so much more interesting.

Possibly the biggest project I’ve ever worked on! This is a massive map of World of Warcraft as of Cataclysm (with a couple extra details). The whole thing was drawn on the computer with a little help from filters, and a lot of hours of drawing. It’s engraved on leather, hand stitched together, and mounted on wood planks. 

I had to adjust the scale and relative position of the continents so I could make them large enough to see all the details and to avoid a huge empty ocean. This was a commission for a client, but I really want to make one with Pandaria included, I think that’d fill it out really nicely! 

This was a huge amount of working hours to complete. I’m working on a making-of video for it. I’m also starting up a Patreon to support future videos and other things I want to move on to doing! Search me up on Patreon as Nappinkraken if you want to support me.

Hey, Mark! Why are prophecies often related to blue? Shouldn't they be Green, since it's related to destiny and us beeing subject to forces we can't control?

Blue peddles in information and is the color most focused on the future. Green, in contrast, is the most focused on the past.

I feel like ‘destiny’ for green is less about “where you’ll end up” and more about “where you belong”/”what role you play in the wider structure of the world”

Azorius - A complex but healthy salad that’s beautiful yet conforms to the best dietary and strictest health standards.

Dimir - A surprise. It changes every day. Alternatively it’s always whatever’s most popular.

Rakdos - Wicked Chicken Wings served with ghost pepper.

Gruul - Roast Pork. On an open spitfire.

Selesnya - It's a gourmet of a huge variety of meats and vegetables of different cultures and styles. But it's all vegan. Somehow tastes better than the real thing.

Orzhov - A small amount of chips. It’s malnourishing but addictive. They’ll give you more if you beg or tip them.

Golgari - Fish Bone Soup. They specialise in making food out of parts that are usually thrown away.

Simic - Asian Rice fused with european roast and middle eastern spices. Currently researching how best to integrate italiano.

Izzet - A ball of deep fried rice that spins, cracks open with hot jets of steam and blinding light coming out to reveal a spectacular seafood dish on sizzling rice.

Boros - Toast. They’re not too creative and they sometimes singe the bread. But the earnestness is what draws the customers.

I truly believe that you frame your own world by the attitude you exude. Being negative to other people just increases the negativity in your own life. I strongly urge you to try just one day of positivity and see how it makes you feel. Search for the good in life rather than always leaning on a cynical outlook. I swear it’s the first step to being happier.

Agree with this so much. Acknowledge all the times something good happens to you, whether it was someone being kind or a stroke of good luck. Your life gets so much brighter.

What keeps you focused through a work day?

I always focus on the fact that what we are doing is producing happiness, of creating real bonds between people, of helping provide a focus for people who want or need that focus. Magic, to me, is a positive force in the universe and I’m one of the people who has the honor of keeping it thriving.
