Oh it has been such a long time coming - the highly anticipated Peridot has finally been added to our SU collection! It took a while to figure out what we wanted to do for her, since she doesn't have a personal weapon or an iconic prop (and didn't want to do her limb enhancers). Well, she can move metal with her MIND, so we did her whole head! And this way we can include her gem in the design :D

Love how this turned out. I’ve added some close ups so you can see the detail in the engraving. It took some trial and error while designing, but I ended up having to do it in a few passes with the laser cutter to get the effect I wanted.

It’s an 8.5x8.5 inch Wood medallion that you can hang on a wall or rest on a desk/shelf as a decoration.

If you want one it’s listed on my etsy shop (link in profile). Supplies are limited as the engraving and finishing process takes time. If there aren’t any available send me a message and I can let you know when a new one will be available.

Playing Mario Maker gave me serious nostalgia for old pixel art. So I made this large scale NES controller. I used a few of my favorite characters for the pattern. Do you recognize all of them? This is a 13 inch wall/shelf decoration. I love how it turned out but man does it take a long time on the laser cutter. Check it out on our shop if you want to pick one up (link in profile). Greg Universe's guitar!! We were actually originally commissioned to design this piece, and we're super happy with it. It's got so many neat little details (and lots of little pieces to glue together) - from the frets having a bit of 3Dness to them, to the hand-painted stars and moon. It hangs differently from our usual Steven Universe necklaces too, just had to hang it like a real guitar!

(And for anyone curious about Spinel... she's already in the works and the gems are on their way to us ;3)

Howl’s Moving Castle is one of the Ghibli movies we always find ourselves coming back to watch. This is my tribute to the movie :)

I love the design of the mirror of twilight. So I drew a vector of it. I used part of this for the background of the Midna medallion but I liked how it looked so much that I had to make it into its own piece. You can get one from our shop! Link in profile.

Possibly the biggest project I’ve ever worked on! This is a massive map of World of Warcraft as of Cataclysm (with a couple extra details). The whole thing was drawn on the computer with a little help from filters, and a lot of hours of drawing. It’s engraved on leather, hand stitched together, and mounted on wood planks. 

I had to adjust the scale and relative position of the continents so I could make them large enough to see all the details and to avoid a huge empty ocean. This was a commission for a client, but I really want to make one with Pandaria included, I think that’d fill it out really nicely! 

This was a huge amount of working hours to complete. I’m working on a making-of video for it. I’m also starting up a Patreon to support future videos and other things I want to move on to doing! Search me up on Patreon as Nappinkraken if you want to support me.

YES it's finally here!! We've got obsidian's sword in the shop (as both a necklace and a pin)! (Shop link in profile since Tumblr doesn’t like external links.)

The jet black Swarovski gem on the hilt is so sparkly 😍 The hilt's made of fluorescent orange acrylic, which catches the light amazingly. In sunlight, it almost looks like it's glowing!

Who else is HYPED for new episodes tonight??

We did a little side update of our Steven Universe pendants - they're now available as pins/brooches! They're going to be made to order and online exclusives for now, so we won't be bringing them to conventions.

There's also a new design for Garnet's gauntlet, in both necklace and pin form. We weren't entirely satisfied with the old design, so it's being retired. What's in the shop is all that's left ever, so if you preferred that design, it's your last chance to snag it!

Been a little while since posting. Here's a preview of my next wood cut design! I'm still doing some testing for the finished piece but it'll be ready soon!

Finally finished the My Hero Aca wood decoration. After a bunch of testing with paint and stain and different things. I settled on doing more of a traditional stain. This was made on local cedar that I hand cleaned up and planed. The I laser engraved my design on the plank and stained it with a walnut tone. I also decided to pop out the logo with a thin piece of cedar which I think looks nice on it :)

This one is posted on my shop! If you want one and it’s sold out, please msg me. Each one will be unique since they’re made from different cuts of wood.
